@Madetoshop:
Did your daughters cook for you? smiling smiley

We were "supposed" to try gluten-free pasta. Instead, I worked an extra long IC day and am having more of the salad medley from this morning. We can try that pasta tomorrow.

They sure did and I am loving it. DH cleaned up but then again, he usually does. You will love the pasta dish. Add/toss some minced garlic, olive oil, parsley and salt to the pasta. The rattatoulle stands on its own!
Split pea soup has been simmering in the slow cooker all afternoon and smells great. It also has carrots and a small amount of ham in it. With some garlic bread, that will make a meal, and plenty of "planned-overs" will be frozen. Tomorrow I will roast a whole chicken, have some and freeze planned-overs of that. At weekend special prices (77 cents per pound) this 8 lb chicken cost less than the 4 lb store-roasted ones, lol. And, no injected chemicals and salt !

Has anyone had RightRice? I tried their creamy Parmesan-like risotto and it was pretty delicious.

Picked up Mom and then road trip to hot pot dining. So much fun. Lots an lots of greens and veggies. Got sides of chicken breast, white fish and shrimp. The shrimp had their heads on. Couldn't/wouldn't cook and eat the shrimp. It
went to waste.
I dunno. We were "supposed" to nosh gluten-free pasta all day. It was not good pasta. Bleh. Perhaps someday I will try a different form of this pasta. Or not. Probably not.

It has been a chilly, very windy few days here. So, I have defrosted some planned-over beef pot roast in gravy and will have that with steamed green beans and mashed potatoes. And, of course, a little red wine.

I baked chicken thighs with fresh sweet onion, red peppers, green peppers, fresh mushrooms covered with organic roasted garlic sauce and angel hair pasta.
DH took the girls and 2 beaus to dinner. Mom and I stayed home and had tofu and Pad Thai. Loving those bean sprouts. We each had a box of Raisinets for dessert.
Tonight is pepper steak with fresh ingredients from the Dutch Market.

A casserole made of stuff that needed to be used up. Thinly sliced potatoes on the bottom, then a layer of hamburger with sauteed onions in it, then a layer of Rotel and a thin layer of cheese. Another layer of each, then a little more cheese on the top, with a little homemade salsa for a garnish.

Veggie burgers with thin sliced red onions and French fries via the Ninja Foodie 5 in 1 Grill. One of the few appliances that we use and love.
Just wine? lol...not judging by any means! Personally I can't drink wine on an empty stomach so I guess that's why I'm asking. If it was THAT kind of day, I'm truly sorry and hope that tomorrow is better. But then again, you did have WINE!

What kind btw?

Planned and prepped as much as i could. Veggie lo mein and teriyaki chicken on the side. I need 2 of everything i.e. deep frying pans, pressure cooker, you name it. My feeling right now is I dislike cooking intensely.
Ranch pesto chicken hot dish - ish. Instead of tater tots I'm baking rice. A lot of red wine.

Hi kimmie!

I love wine. It's my hobby. The wine was Black Box Red Blend.

Did you get the email about graduation? Via Zoom.

Pinto beans with a ham bone. Love the smells of cooking. Cocktail weiners with grape jelly and BBQ sauce.
