Service Check has just deactivated my account.

This is a really GREAT company. They just lost the grocery store I used to do for them, but I'm hoping they get more companies. I respect that they expect good work. I'm glad they deactivate shoppers who turn in poor reports and who fail on shops which then have to be rescheduled. This rewards those of us who do better work. They want the very best shoppers working for them. In no way should they be expected to come back and talk to a poor performing shopper before deactivating him, giving him more and more chances to do a decent job.

They are very reasonable and they give good feedback. I got one 8 with them, my first shop. They gave me good feedback and I understood exactly what I needed to say in the reports. I also understood that my spelling and grammar needed to be good and I needed to be careful about using full sentences. After that first report with an 8, my reports are all 10s with a couple of 9s.

thanks to this thread i signed up with this co and perfomed a mattress shop w/a bonus. i got a 10 and made double the $. i don't think this is a bad co at all.

Every company is great until you make one mistake and they deactivate your account. I work with several companies who are far more reasonable and willing to work with you.
I agree with Jay C 100% and disagree with johnb 100%. I have never had a report rejected. I don't always get perfect scores but with the helpful comments from editors, I learn from my mistakes and get perfect scores on my next reports. I have never been deactivated from a MSC so I must be doing something right. But some people don't WANT to learn and don't know when to take good advice.
Sybil of course you agree with JayC, I wouldn't expect anything else. It appears anything I say, you're against. LOL. You've NEVER had a report rejected?
I see you are into plagiarism also. I am not against you per se, just your stubborn ignorance. And no, I have NEVER had a report rejected and I have NEVER been deactivated from a MSC. Did I stutter?

Low scores prevent you from getting the higher paying jobs.

I don't see any higher paying jobs on any of the sites, for getting 7, 8, or 8. They all pay the same. Also it depends on who's doing the editing. I've written reports for other sites and got 10's....the same report for another site get's a 7, 8 or 9.

there is a company that specifically told me that i have to do a few basic shops & get good scores before i will be able to even see the higher paying jobs. I did the basic shops & lo & behold much better shops popped up. If i had done a poor job on those first few shops I would have never had this opportunity. how can the same report be on two different sites?

Actually, you didn't make just one mistake to get deactivated by this company. You made low scores on 6 reports, which kind of indicates you made some mistakes on each of them. When you failed two shops and the shops had to be reassigned to another shopper to be done correctly, they deactivated you. So you skated on the low scores. After you had two failed shops, the combination of low scores and a failure rate of 2 out of 8 shops, they didn't want you anymore. It sounds like you made lots of miistakes. Get over it.

They are a great company to work for that doesn't put up with substandard work. Like you said, there are lots of companies to work for. Maybe you are performing better for other companies or maybe they are willing to accept mistakes and substandard work. Good luck. I hope either you do better or you find companies willing to accept it.
My account was just deactivated...I had a lot of shops pending but the link to schedule new ones disappeared. I emailed the help desk to see if it was a tech issue (as I could access everything else) and got a message back that my account was reactivated. No explanation about why it was deactivated in the first place, so maybe in error? Looks fine now, but it was weird....

Welcome to the forum, thetiki. You may be talking about a different company than the one we are discussing. From your description, it sounds as though you might be posting about Market Force rather than Service Check. Glad to hear the deactivation was just a mistake and you are back to being able to schedule shops!
Jay C Read my first post again. I said I got 6 reports with HIGH scores.

Jay C I said I got 6 reports with HIGH scores, not low scores. Read my first post again
I think we all read ALL the posts, john. In your first post, you said they were HIGH scores. But in subsequent posts, you revealed that some of them were 7s and 8s, which are not high scores. You believed at the time that they were high scores.

7's, 8's and 9's are NOT low scores. 8's and 9's are high scores. 6's and 7's are medium, you don't deactivate an account over those. By they way your score is very much dependent on the person reviewing your report.
