The UK site is still active although there arn't any jobs listed and I have'nt heard from them for over 2 months?
I wonder who is going to pick up their major client? I like the hint given but haven't seen those shops come up on that MSC's website yet?
My sister and I got all of our gift card payments yesterday in the mail as did my friend who shopped in March. All shops in March were paid therefore in the Western PA area at least.

I've only seen the fish place posted with another company so far.

Is the other company reimbursing with those "complimentary" faux "gift cards" too?
If the other company is who I suspect, then they only reimburse, no gift cards. Take the hint of the previous poster a few posts back and you can deduce who the firm most likely will be. It was a good hint!

I completed some shops where I was supposed to be paid on my visa debit card that they send out to collect payment on. Has anyone been paid on their cards for non restaurant shops? I completed 3 shops on March 7th and another on March 22nd.
I'm not sure. I saw the assignment on the list but didn't bother to check the details. Now I see the assignment is taken.

It's before the legal agreed payment schedule, so it's too soon to start worrying about payments on the Grass Roots Visa card for the sorely missed high end dining shops that paid with the Visa card.

Considering that it is NOT an LLC of the parent company, I have no doubt that they will close all the books on any outstanding invoices to any shops completed by March 30'th and submitted and you received an email confirmation number.

The Grass Roots parent company is all about brand promotion. The last thing they want to do is tarnish the reputation of Grass Roots. They are not a mom and pop company with two clients. They have offices around the world. If they lost the Fish and/or desert company, it's logical that they decided to close this branch of the tree.

There is no loss of liability to honor all contracts up and including the last day they were open.

I shopped them on 3/30/15 and was paid. I may have submitted the last report for them!
Lets hope it is a good last word. Specifically that shoppers are and will be paid.

Happily shopping Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts and Connecticut
@scanman1

Got paid with the dessert gift card for shop done on March 31. Now waiting for the visa payment. I agree with you on the assesment, that's why I did not worry so much compared to the other MS that closed shops and left so many shoppers unpaid.
I'm in shock. . .I just received two gift cards for what I think are the last two shops I did for them. No, I think they still owe me some. I loved going to those wonderful restaurants. I am bereft. . .

Was anybody able to leave a message and heard back from them? Their mailbox seems to be full.
I got my Visa card with some money (not all) but I'm unable to activate the card because I don't have my shopper pin. The only way to get my pin is to log into my account but website is not working.
I love Disney stores. Hopefully they won't go to some greedy MSC that reimburses up to $5 or asks to return purchased item

Read the notes carefully. I had an issue and it turns out they tell you in the notes how to access your PIN (it should be your grassroots ID number, I think). You can also contact the Visa card company and they will help you.

I can't wait to find out who gets their companies as I loved the ease of doing their shops.

Thanks but I'm not sure what notes you are talking about. If you talk about shop instructions then I didn't save them.
I contacted the card company, all they were able to do for me is to provide me with a contact email of someone in Grass roots. I emailed that person with no reply of course.
Seems like restaurant gift cards were sent out. Now let's wait for visa card payments.
I, too, had the same experience. I emailed on 4/1 asking if I could expect payment for the assignments I had completed earlier in March; and, to date, have not yet received a response. We shall see.

When is payment actually due?
I received payment for 2 shops done in March with the dessert company. They seemed to process them faster than normal perhaps because they new the end was near. Does anyone know of similar restaurant shops with other companies?
I received a check from the company for work done on March 1, but it is not signed...the check is for 147.00. Not sure what to do when mailbox is full!
That is an interesting one.....

I wish I knew what was going, as I am still owed $80.00 from last month and not a gift card either...
I did a survey for them last September and never got the promised gift card. I thought they were just a scam after that.

Deposit that check at the ATM. Unless they dispute it, it will go through. I have had checks that were older than the expiration as well as unsigned checks go right through. There is no signature check done on small checks.
They sure are to be applauded!!! They took care of their shoppers 100%!! They do NOT owe me any money. I got fully paid for my shops just yesterday. I never had any doubt about this you know. They are one of a few SERIOUS companies!! I always enjoyed working with them. Their schedulers were the most accommodating I could ever deal with, and their editors??!! Dont even know who they were- that's how much they bothered me!!

This is one company towards whom I feel sorry from the bottom of my heart that they ceased operations!!
