Is there no limit to Intellishop's cheapness? New $15 payday loans

They "desperately need my help" -- as long as I don't mind getting paid $15 to put my personal information and credit on the line, in a shop in a dangerous neighborhood. Intellishop is on a fast race to the bottom. Good luck on getting shoppers for this one, Intellishop.

'Well, they certainly don't need shoppers with an attitude like yours.
Exactly WHERE are they forcing you to take the shop?
If you don't like what they offer just keep moving along....
They just took over the payday loans from another MSC. I just did one for the other MSC for $100. I won't be doing any for $15. I'm thinking they will be sitting on the boards for awhile. They even sit on the boards at $100 in my area.
It will be interesting to see what happens with these loan shops. I did one for big bucks and said never again. Made me want to go home and take a bath.

Mary Davis Nowell. Based close to Fort Worth. Shopping Interstate 20 east and west, Interstate 35 north and south.
I routinely passed up the $100 ones in my neck of the woods and they sat on the boards here, too. It will be interesting to see what happens with the new MSC.
I, too, am curious to see what happens with these loan. They used to start at $45 with the other MSC and I have taken them anywhere from the $45 up to $150. I will sorely miss them if they get picked up for $15!! I loved those shops.
I thought the same thing when I saw them. I liked it when I had a "choice" and could go in and quickly make an ATM withdrawal. I always passed on the loan shops and they started much higher. I tend to agree that Intellishop is super cheap. I take some shops, but rarely work for them because of the work involved and the low fees.
At the local payday loan store, a few years ago, where two employees were embezzling money, and the payday loan shops appeared on the board. I guess the company thinks it's all under control, now.

Sometimes big business should consider taking the names of some of the MS companies ICs and interviewing them for opinions. I could have told Haggans Groceries that they wouldn't make it in their new venture, and I could tell Ace that this is a really dumb idea, as well. Oh well, good luck keeping compliance with your new cutthroat venture. No decent mystery shoppers will be darkening that doorway for peanuts and a credit ding.

Actually, they started at $12 and went up. The new company is probably trying to get a few off the board with the easily beguiled, and then work on bonusing the remainder?

I've done them four months in a row for $75 each; I thought it was a pretty easy gig for the money. Two trips for $15? No, thanks. And what's with the "circuits"? Can't you only have one loan at a time?
Circuits may be using the ATM, or paying a bill. No wonder the company that lost the contract/account is taking a new approach. They may have been under bidded for the contract (if that is how it works, since I'm only guessing, of course), and the pay day place took the lower bid.

So, the losing company may have decided to come up with a new and cutting edge way of reporting using tablets in half the time to be more attractive to big business. It comes down to us purchasing quality tablets, and working faster.

The company is literally standing by waiting for the report from the ICs. It all started with those flimsy smartphone apps... Oh well, I've said enough.

Sounds like a lot of potential work for you while everyone else does the better stuff.
SoCal mama...

Where did I say I was interested in the shop??????????

And for that matter, even if I were interested, where do you get off telling someone else what they should accept for a shop fee??????

The OP stated the MSC was desperate and the OP was being forced to do a shop they did not want to do..

Shoppers are IC, If an shopper does not like a shop fee or shop requirements they are free to move along and look at other work.

The MSC will then have re evaluate what fee they offer.

Calling an MSC "DESPERATE" to fill a shop on the first day offered is ridiculous.

BTW I can GUARANTEE YOU I make way more and get better fees than you do!!!!

Well, they have $2 phone shops and $3 coffee shops, so $15 is getter better smiling smiley

I just did the $2 phone shops. The key is to find easy ones and take as many as allowed. The longest I was on the phone was just over a minute, and I think it took about 4 minutes to enter the report. So In 25 minutes I made $10.00 sitting in my living room in my PJ's. No out of pocket expense whatsoever. Works for me!

I'm pretty sure that you don't, but that's OK.
Of course they are not "forcing me". I never said they were. Good grief. Take all the $15 payday loans you want. Are you a shill for Intellishop or what?
Jackaroe, you have an attitude. Feel free to take all the $15 payday loan shops you want.

I kind of want to know what he has lined up this week.
I have 4 days of travel which include the rental cars, hotels and airfare (all reimbursed, not shops) , plus a meal allowance and a $200 a day base rate. Of course, I added another $200-$300 worth of work each day too. It might be the most lucrative 4 days ever for me, other than the 17 minute shop to open a credit card that paid $1000. None of it is video.
I have been doing the shops for the other MSC making $100-150 each. No way I would do them for $15.00! For goodness sakes, you have to go twice to the store.
Monday- 3 video new home shops. $300 fee each
Tuesday 2 Senior communities. $200 shop fees each.
Wednesday 2 new home video shops $300 each.
Thursday 3 Senior communities. $200 each
All within 150 miles of home.

This is a typical week for me
jackaroe, I'm not nearly the outgoing moneymaker as some forum members, so rest assured that you make much more money than I.

It is just nasty to attack another member for purposes of dominating an open public forum, and expressing some sort of cyber loyalty to old, stale, and isolated subjective views.

I apologize for being mean, but everything was at least peaceful until somebody decided to begin an attack on another forum member.

Some of us made pretty much easy money on the subject of this discussion, so I ask the offended to please forgive the reflections that seem to irritate them so much, and move onto more attractive perches.

Hi cue
This whole topic was started by a forum member with an un warranted attack towards a MSC about a shop fee offered and statement the MSC was desperate.
If the op did not like the shop fee they could have noted what was being offerd and move in.
But the op and follow up posters made it a point of name calling the MSC.

Why do you call
Me out and not the response of the op?
Are you seeking a forum where you can just throw free insults at MSC?
It's this simlple.
If you don't like the type of shops or fees offered by an
MSC you just delete it.
Why does somrone have to name call and say they are desperate ?
jackaroe,

Info from this forum is used in the owner's newsletter. Some people, and maybe not the original OP, are the emotive types, and want to be recognized. Maybe for monementry ( <~. spelling?) advantages.

I see your frustration, because the conversation about the topic has gone on too long, and I see your point, since most of us got the original emails.

The OP may have been watching for bonused shops, and wasn't happy when a scheduler made the first call to new shops sound so drastic.

Whatever the reason, someone decided to make a mild attack on the OP, and you and I wasted too much time thinking about it.

Actually, I was looking for a distraction, I have medical tests on Tuesday and do stupid stuff to help take it off my mind. smiling smiley

Have a good day. It's Sunday, give peace a chance, just still dusk?

I don't complain about low fees. I have many companies I signed up for that I have yet to do a single job for. I did my first GFK job only when they added enough bonus to make the job worth it. I was also hoping it would take me off the list of endless emails for that job. (Didn't work)
I saw those on intellishop and was quite sad. I was doing them for $150 with another MSC. I really don't like shopping with intellishop because they are so cheap, but sometimes they offer decent ones. I hope they end up at $100+ because I felt those shops were pretty easy.

1 Week = $2,500 x 52 weeks = $130,000 a year shopping.

Yes, that's believable. YOU WIN! ROFLMAO

I'll answer this one. I just signed for two shops with the company. They were comparison shops for two companies, and I believed I was signing for $10 a shop times four shops. Not true. I was signing for two comparison shops for a cheap $10 each. Trying to make the best of a bad situation, I realized I can make about 1.25 an hour on this shop.

But I will uphold my deal because I signed. Then, they cancelled one shop. Now I am working for nothing or less. I try to get another shop with another MSC to break even on expenses (one hour drive each way). I can't find another shop for that date, but I find one for the day before. Now... I 'm back to about $2 an hours, but I'm not losing money

But, the company has to change the date of the shop to one day earlier. Four contact emails later, and no relies, the date hasn't been changed, and almost 72 hours have passed since the first email was sent.

I rescheduled the shop with the second company for a day when I can make money with combined shops.

I asked Intellishop to just cancel the shop. But, I'll bet $100 here and now that they won't cancel the shop.... because no other shopper will sign to do two comparison shops at two locations for $10.

Not only are they cheap, they are irresponsible in handling communications.

That will be at least $15,000 in SE tax and another $18-20,000 in income tax.... mileage won't be more than 1200 a week @ 56 cents a mile (8 x 150 miles) .... $34,944 in travel expense alone.... that's a big red flag.... I see an IRS audit coming.... so the shopper had better have excellent records....
Learn to negotiate the bonus fees from them. If they like you and see the demand, they'll reward you the bonus. This is speaking from experience, by the way.
