Maritz Phone Number- What's this all about???

I called Maritz main number 800-782-4299 several times this morning from two different phone numbers and each time I'm getting the Capital One rewards center. This can't be good!

I called there several times yesterday morning and received voicemail. I finally received a human being after about the 5th attempt.

I emailed two of the TCMSBOX addresses about it so they'll probably be addressing it sometime around mid-April.

This is clearly a problem with whatever telephone service provider either Capital One and / or Maritz uses. I encountered this type of "crossed circuits" issue before. It happens. It has nothing to do with either Maritz or Capitol One. No, it is not good from a practical sense, but it is not the end of the world. Businesses can actually buy insurance against this sort of thing - it is called business interruption insurance - and loss of phone service is one of the many covered risks.

Yeah I figured it was the phone company but I thought it wouldn't be a bad idea to make them aware of it if they weren't already.

URGENT NOTICE!

I would guess that Maritz administers Cap1's reward program. That kind of thing is a bigger part of their business than MS I think.

You would be right. Mystery shopping is a tiny part of their business. It was originally offered as a complement to other services instead of subcontracting the work.

They handle the employee incentive program for my day job's company. I was surprised when I saw the return address on some employee gift I received.
