I completely understand the frustration. Please know that we are located in California and it is not even 11am yet. We are responding to calls messages and emails ASAP and are working on a resolution. We will be refunding all NSF incurred, as well. I'm sorry for all of the issues this has caused each of you and will work diligently and expediently to make this right.

Thank you so much!

Would you say that your trust in this company has returned and that you would recommend them still?

If it's too private to talk about, don't worry about it. smiling smiley

I'm asking only because I have weekend shops scheduled with NSS and am still not sure if I should cancel or not.
I have never had a reason to not trust this company. I did have concern after the check bounced, but I have since corresponded with NSS do trust they will correct the issue.

Hello all!

We're currently investigating this matter to determine why some of you have had this experience. We have had fraud issues hit and freeze our account in the past, and had to work out the issue with our bank. We are in no way closing. Once we have determined the resolution we will contact those of you who have let us know you've had your payment returned AND refund any NSF fees that were incurred.

We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

Thank you for your patience while we deal with this matter,

Something isn't right here. If there were fraud issues and the account frozen, then the checks should not be returned as "NSF" rather they should be returned either as "Account Closed," or "Refer to Maker." NSF indicates that the account is in good order but has no funds in it.

Sounds like NSS is trying to pass the buck for not having any bucks.

Hello,

Were you personally affected by this issue? If so, please email me ASAP so I can have our accounting department send you a payment that includes the NSF charge.

Thank you!

If you pay close attention to that post, she does not state that fraud was the issue this time, she simply insinuated it by stating it had happened in the past. Careful choice of words I would guess.

She didn't state that was the issue this time around, in any event, you are correct. The checks were written on an account that did not have sufficient funds.

The fraud that hit our account in the past was an account breach due to a scam that you are all most likely familiar with, the "cash a check at Walmart and wire the money to <insert scam artist name here>". They had made checks using our account and routing information, meaning the money was removed from our accounts, as if it were valid. This truly did lead to NSF charges, as the account actually was overdrawn due to this breach. Once the issue was resolved with our bank all charges were either reversed or refunded, if the shopper banked elsewhere.

We are looking into this and trying to determine exactly where, when, and why this issue occurred. It also has not affected a majority of our shoppers; but we take even one instance of this seriously and are working as fast as we can to make it right.

Thank you again for your patience!

I called Nicole at 8:44am this morning it's now 11:44am with no call back? I took measures into my own hands went to Wells Fargo to cash the check. I was charged $7.00 to do this since I don't trust you're excuses. I'm now out 18.00 nsf fee as well. It cost me 25.00 to work for you guys. What a waste of energy as well and having to be a bill collector.

Yes, I've determined who you are at this point. You called into the office and belittled Nicole, calling her "b!@#$" several times and making her cry, when she has no control over your payment. I had offered to fix your payment issues, so you would not have been out any money, but you chose to do something else. I'm am truly sorry that you had a bad experience with your payment but it is intolerable to treat another person the way you treated our staff member. If you would still like to be reimbursed for the fees incurred we will gladly take care of that. Please email me photo or scanned proof of the fees. This can be a small section of your bank records, a photo of the receipt for cashing the check, etc. I'm sure you feel as I do though and understand that it would be best for both parties involved if we part ways and no longer engage in business with each other.

I quit working for you last month in a polite way since the issues with payments were constant. It's sad you would belittle someone and lie publicly when you bounced a check on someone who worked for you. I also was under going treatment for cancer while taken on the extra work as was asked to help out with. Sad sad you would lie. I have emails to prove it
Oh my.

What do you think? RomCom or Suspense/Thriller? I bet it's a cliffhanger that sets us up for a sequel.

Wow, this thread took a turn for the worse. For what it's worth...my two cents. I've worked for NSS for quite some time and this is the first issue I've had. They are one of the better MSCs that I work with in regards to communication. They seem to be responding to this issue quickly and the communication seems good. I'm apt to give them the benefit of the doubt and am hopeful that it turns out well. I sure hope so...I've got close to $300 on the line from Jan and Feb shops.
I agree! I wish I could delete the entire thread. I really appreciate the quick response from NSS. I have a hard time believing that anyone from NSS was rude to a shopper. I have only experienced kindness and professionalism from the ones I have interacted with.
My 2 cents worth: This sounds like a longtime shopper who registered with a new identity today, immediately before posting on this thread, because he knew he was going to get ugly and knew the MSC would identify him and he did not want to compromise the identity he usually posts with. I understand being angry and frustrated, but these posts have gotten ugly. Kudos to Britney for her professionalism. btw, I don't work for NSS. This is just what I think.

I'm reporting the thread to the moderator. I think it's time to end the ugliness and close the thread.

Kudos to any business that bounces checks on others what a kind business way. Yet the honest shopper is now considered the monster? Wow all of you are sick if thats the case. Delete I could care less. This world has become awful with people who cheer for dishonest behavior.

Forget the soda. It's Friday. Time for Happy Hour!
Was it returned for non sufficient funds OR perhaps did they see the check as a bit sketchy and return it because they thought it was fake? (My checks from them have always been fine but since they state "for shops" on the check the bank might question it.??)
NSS has paid me via PayPal as promised and refunded my bank fees. @mpalty please quit trolling.

I have worked with this company for many years. I have never had a problem with them with payments. They have been very courteous and wonderful to me throughout the years. I'm sure they will take care of everybody, just be patientsmiling smiley
This is a company that you can actually talk to on the phone and get a response. They have never treated me with no respect, they actually treat me like I'm a human.
I'm sure they will fix these issues everybody's having!

Dang! If you can't just relax for a couple days and let them take care of their situation, your behavior is very childish. NSS Is really a great company to work for! I've talked on the phone with them so many times, they actually feel like friends. Stop bashing them.
