Maritz new website launching

Yes, I realized that while sitting in church!

I edited it to reflect the 21st.

Still, their shops that begin today, the 21st are not showing ready to shop.

But Thanks!

We have been made aware that holds on overall photos have been confusing. Due to this, we are currently developing a new method for collecting your overall photos. We apologize for the confusion and hope to have a modification for this in the near future. Until this can be fixed, please take the action indicated in the hold notes to address any question/issue with your photos.
Maritz Scheduler....

We really need a "check my responses" section like the old website had. Plus the final page to show all pictures like the old website. The best way to check one's work is to see it displayed a bit differently; not just going up and down the same page that we report on.

Please bring this back!

I received my 15th of the month (January) payment from Maritz, but I still cannot see the form online that reflects my deposit. I can see all of my deposit information for 2017, but nothing for 2018. I always print a copy and check it against my records to make sure I've been paid for shops I've performed. Is anyone else having this problem?
Thank you for bringing this to our attention, the issue has been resolved and you should now be able to see your 2018 Direct Deposits.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention, the Direct Deposit issue has been resolved and you should now be able to see your 2018 payments. We are looking into the “Not Ready to Shop” issue that you are experiencing and have passed on your calendar request to the project team for future discussions.
There is only one other company that I finally threw up my hands and said, "This just isn't worth the hassle" and quit. I've done hundreds, if not a thousand or more, shops for Maritz and I have decided there are too many other companies out there to do work for that don't cause me headaches.

I was totally looking forward to the new website. I am one of those who embraces change as long as change is for the better. I also embrace technology. I love their app, issues and all. But the new website is nothing but an excuse for incompetence.

I've been trying to get a call since Friday to no avail. I give up. I can't do the shops now as I cannot reschedule other shops to accommodate Maritz. It's not fair to other companies.

In today's world, there simply is no excuse for this level of lack of communication. This isn't the first incident. They haven't returned a call or email about specific shops in several months, even before implementation of the new site.

I've been tempted to try to get ahold of corporate and let them know how bad it is. Yes, I've talked to a supervisor and she has been snippy and rude. She's claimed they haven't received any of my emails or messages. On one shop I left no less than six messages as I desperately needed to talk to someone. It's one specific team.

So congratulations to those of you who will benefit from the great bonuses you will get to go to gawdforsaken areas in my place. For me, the money isn't worth the grey hair.

Sorry for the long rant. It takes a lot for me to get fed up, but today they managed to do it after six years.

I hear you!

I am not a complainer and always try to work with a new system, technology, whatever. I'm not sure if the shops you refer to are those that we are asked if we wish to perform them again when allowed. I'm referring specifically to the "Blue" shops.
As I stated much earlier in this thread, I always selected the 3rd week for almost all of the shops they asked for the week in which i wanted to perform them. This was because, when I first started with Maritz, their own employee advised me to do this and then just do them earlier in the month as they did allow this. It made route planning easier and allowed for me to take into account weather delays, illness, car problems, etc.
This is how I chose when completing my November and December shops (third week) - meaning of course then next go-round would be January and February shops.
There was never an indication that Maritz was going to change the rules.
When I called and asked Maritz to move some of the shops to earlier weeks, they took them away from me as the scheduler said, "in that way it won't affect your rating".
So, in essence, I lost those shops that I had worked long and hard to get.

I now see shop that are usually taken just sitting there because, I'm assuming, the new scheduling method does not allow one to route plan when weather conditions are such.

What I just do not understand is how Maritz could do this, hurting some of their shoppers. You lose your shoppers and you'll certainly pay more in the long run!

Well, it's working for someone in my neck of the woods. The usual heavily bonused bank and gas station shops have disappeared long before they were bonused..at least to me.

Same here, and it's been like this for awhile. If someone else wants to run their tires and engine into the ground for pennies they are welcome too. I will only work for fair pay.

@MaritzCX Scheduler Twice now I've submitted incentive requests online and both times I received a call back accepting the request, which would be nice if the amount Maritz was accepting was the amount I requested but both times I was told that my request was for the original amount, not the requested amount. Something ain't right with that website.

I put 4 requests in and heard back on 1. The base pay was $75 and I needed $165. I got a call from a scheduler saying the supervisor approved $75 and did I want to accept that or put a counter offer in. I really don't need a supervisor to approve what I can self-assign. I agree, this system needs some work.
Ah hah. It's a systemic issue. They're not seeing the request, it looks like.

I thought it was me. I cant get a call back after numerous emails and messages. I guessvtheybdo not want assign the shops.
I doubt they're ignoring it for all of us and just going with what the original rate was. THey've never done that before, at least not to me.

I think part of the problem is that there is a lot of confusion over the new system from shoppers, schedulers and even supervisors and the concentration is on fixing it. I believe we will get there. However, I do like the old system of getting bonuses by either making a proposal through a scheduler or, more likely, emailing a supervisor. At least that way I could explain the reasoning behind my request.
I really like the method of choosing the locations on a map. Infinitely easier than trying to figure out which bunch were close to each other.

So, as I suspected, the Maritz version of the month's weeks versus mine are way off.

Example: Week 1 for February: 2-1 through 2-10 = 10 days
Week 2 for February: 2-11 through 2-17 = 7 days
Week 3 for February: 2-18 through 2-21 = 4 days

So, they do total up to 21 days or 3 weeks. Yet, how does one know when the Maritz version of week 1, week 2 and week 3 begins and ends?

This is a clear reason why Maritz should insert a drop down calendar (or something similar) for the upcoming month at the end of the report for the "blue" gas stations when asking if you would like to perform the shop again. Simply having a selection for week 1, 2 or 3 does not cut it.

S'il vous plait Maritz?
Here is another problem with the new website.: Shops on "hold" for whatever reason ask for another photo, comment, etc. The explanation of the hold request repeats itself for every question on the report. Then, after navigating through the that and finding and submitting what the hold wants, the report cannot be submitted until you answer the statement, why, the report is being submitted past the due date. It continues warning that it could be denied due to it being submitted late. For a newbie, that statement could be disconcerting and difficult to answer.
Last of all, if the "hold" is answered by the shopper but not reviewed by the editor, it continues to show up as being on hold.
Remember, all, you still have to invoice each shop. The invoice function is still there but well hidden. You have to find it. Kind of tricky and more inconvenient since the second you submit your report, the page zips right back to your current shops - not the page where you can find the invoicing.
I was just reviewing some of the issues people have had since the new website rolled out. And I have noticed that many of the issues have been corrected. Thank you, Maritz. I still have an issue with the Facebook/Maritz footer covering the lower portion of an android screen (not via the app). It also covers available shop types in the drop-down list if the list is long on the laptop computer. Also, shop instructions in PDF format will download but not open in android Firefox. The downloaded file shows an android icon and all files (review, guidelines, read this first, etc.) Are named GetPdfDocument after the download instead of the Adobe icon and true file name. Plus, the submit invoice function is now hidden in a drop down list on the website so I keep forgetting about it. Can we put it somewhere more obvious? Thanks in advance?

Phone typos corrected.

Anyone know why the list of assignments paid under "Direct Deposit" is not loading? I have called and emailed Maritz several times on this, but no response in 6 days. I can't see any detail regarding 2018 payments. Does that have something to do with their new website?
Also, the car repair shops for a major Japanese manufacturer just went "poof!" from their 'shops available'...anyone have a clue as to what happened? They were previously listed for completion up until 2/28.
They seemed to have fixed the problem with the review tests. There was a red x on a question I missed.

Well, I still see the problem of when the "Blue" shop debrief is completed, there is the question of "do you want to do this shop again?" It goes on to ask which week. As I've stated previously, Maritz' interpretation of when each week begins and ends is different than how others might interpret. For instance, the first week of this month is February 1 to Saturday February 10. The simple solution is to provide a drop down month menu similar to the drop down menu for when they ask in the debrief what day you did the shop.
another thing, along the same lines, the "Yellow" shops begin on the Mondays of the week rather than Sundays like the "Blue" shops. The green shops? Meh. Couldn't we get some synchronicity?
One issue they have yet to correct: email. I sent an email Saturday morning, before their office opened, about a route of dark shops I had that night. A storm was forecast and I was having none of it. I guess they still don't check emails, and there is no way to reschedule the shops. Remember when we could schedule for weeks out and enter shops early? That was handy when weather was a factor.

"Why did you not leave a message?" someone will ask. I figured that, with the new system, an email would have covered it. For some reason the phone will ring when I am elbow-deep in a diaper, or the caller will ignore my requests of which number to call, anyway. Phone calls just are not a good mode of communication for me.
Yay! The gas stations that have daypart requirements now show the timeframe BEFORE you're assigned!
