Do you still do shops for them? They have cut their payments to mystery shoppers by at least in half for about two years now. It is not worth doing shops for them. It is just tooooooo much of a hassle, especially when you can not even understand what the person is trying to tell you. It certainly is not English.

Racist much????

Please do not be needlessly pulling the racist card. Our country has enough real tension we do not need people like you fanning the flames and creating problems.
You don't know me at all.

Waiting for you to contribute anything positive at all around here before you get banned.

It was just sad to see the racist card being pulled in here. Save that for CNN.

The bottom line for us is "Can these foreign schedulers authorize big juicy bonuses?" I say NO, not so much. It seems like Market Force has put a tight cap on the amounts the foreign schedulers can give us. If you want the big bonuses you need to be talking to the American schedulers.
all of us were foreign at one time unless you are 100% American Native. Take your racist bull elsewhere.
people from Canada, Mexico, all of Central America and all of South America are "Americans" American does not mean from the USA. GROW THE HELL UP.

I have not received any payment for the assignments completed in February 2019. It's Sunday, March 24th. I am disappointed in the truthfulness of MarketForce.

Yes next to the reply button, there should be a “!”
Use that and explain why in the text box.

Thank You
They said it was going to the be the 25th before it hits banks. Maybe your bank is just taking that long
SoCalMama-

Not being able to understand someone's thick accent is not racist. It's people like you who cause the race related issues that we are dealing with now.

How is this post racist? Is foreign now considered a slur? Don't be so ridiculous.
Deleted this, as it was meant for another thread, and it was supposed to post here. Sorry about that!

Can you please post your jobs available to the 'Mystery Shopping Job Board.' That is a more appropriate place.

Hi Dawn! I am not sure if you ever go to Baker City, OR? We have a bonused gas station shop in that town right now. It normally pays $6, but it is now paying $30. We also have one in Idaho Falls, ID, that is now paying $15. You can find these on either on GigSpot, or our home site with Alta360 Research at: [www.alta360research.com] . Thanks!
I had the same situation and not only that, while back I did make sure that my assignment had been approved and now I don't see it.
I emailed them twice and they still ignore me .
my shop was lots of money that I forked to do the HR & Block almost $550.00 and I am really upset about that and all my refund with this shop you have to agree for them to deposit your money on there Emarld card or your shop will not be valid.
I had feeling I got scamed by this can any one lead me to what to do.
Marketforce removes shops from the "approved" list once it's approved for payment. In my case, it always means payment will arrive soon, or as scheduled by the company. If you're new to Marketforce, you'll probably get a check in the mail.
I've been fortunate that no one has tried a bait and switch. I have experienced as mentioned previously being offered lower than what's on the board.
I would be sad if MF tanked, I've been with them for a long time and appreciate they're the only (that I'm aware of) company that pays Tolls over and above project pay.
They have some things they need to improve on but I wouldn't want them to fail either. They are one of the better companies out there once one figures out how to work with them.
It's Monday, March 25th and I have not received the February 2019 payments for shops completed. I called my bank three times today and there is nothing there. I have completed 1000's of assignments with MF but this is the first time they have not paid on time. I wrote an email to their offices, but did not receive any type of response. As I said above, MF has lost credibility with not only me but other shoppers. Thanks, RacerTim

You nailed it! I'm the problem. Shoot. Who knew? Gosh, you are smart.

I really don't have any issues understanding anyone at MF. Actually, I speak a half-dozen languages, so it's rarely an issue anywhere that I travel.

Salamat. I'm out.
Is that the second time someone called you racist in some way? I think the other was "reverse racist" or something equally as ridiculous.

"I told myself to quit you; but I don't listen to drunks." -Chris Stapleton
SoCalMama called someone racist for not being able to understand a thick accent. The word racist is used so often, Im starting to think many people dont know what the word means.
Mrs. Chaney stated--Not being able to understand someone's thick accent is not racist.

Bob's comment--I completely agree. Last month, my Internet connection broke. I phoned AT&T, but was unable to understand the tech; this due to his thick accent. I requested, and was accommodated with, another person for whom English was their primary language. I have neither a desire, nor will attempt to conduct business with any person I cannot understand. I absolutely do not apologize, as this is the U.S.A. and English is our mother tongue. If one, though, is referencing a personal relationship, as opposed to business, my position is reversed and I am quite tolerant, but I still agree with Chaney's comment.
I thought US didn't have an official language?
My car came with Onstar. I had a hard time understanding some of the people I spoke to and they had a hard time understanding me, though English is my mother tongue and so was theirs. ????

Internet trolling is equally ridiculous.
People are so brave behind their keyboards, just like spicy1.
So, we now have three posters whose only contribution to this forum is complaining about market force paying late.
Every time I deal with someone with an accent, I respect them.

I am one of those people who could NEVER learn a foreign language well enough to perform daily activities, like grocery shopping or getting gas, more the less get a job and actually work. I cannot speak, but can understand, some of the languages I have studied. I never let on I can understand, and I often get an earful. I have heard my attempts at speaking ridiculed; I've heard people refer to me as crazy and/or stupid, etc., etc., etc.

So I just say to them: "Your accent is charming, but I have a little trouble with my hearing. Could you just speak more slowly, please? I'm sure I'll be able to hear you then."

You want an example of foot-in-mouth disease? At hedgehog the other day, my server had on no name tag, so I had to ask her. "Aisha". "Wow, what a pretty name. But you're not Black."

Sometimes I think some alien takes over my mouth, because I absolutely cannot control it!
* The U. S. does NOT have an official language. However, government business is conducted in English. There have been numerous attempts to adopt English as the official language, but it has always been shot down in Congress.

* It is not "racist" to not be able to understand somebody speaking with a thick accent. Some folks are more adept than others at understanding folks who speak with thick foreign accents. Some folks with accents speak more clearly than others. I am better than most folks at understanding non-native speakers (I have a degree in Spanish Linguistics (as well as math), I have worked with thousands of non-English speaking families closely, I have lived in various parts of the country. I have traveled, etc.) However, there are times that I reach a call center in a different country and struggle to understand the person speaking. Heck, there are some areas in the United States where I have found native English speakers difficult to understand.

* It is not "racist" to want to conduct important business with somebody whom you can understand. Clear communication is important when discussing, for instance, your investments, retirement, health care coverage, the guidelines for a shop, etc.

Hard work builds character and homework is good for your soul.
I agree it is not racist to say that one prefers to speak with someone who speaks the English language in a manner that one can understand. I prefer, when speaking about something important like my credit card theft, etc., to speak with someone whose English I can understand. It has nothing to do with race (I don't care what race the person is, I care that I cannot understand him or her!) I speak both Spanish and German in addition to English and am sometimes required in my day job to do translations and speak with native speakers. My poor vocabulary and heavily accented Spanish and German make it difficult for native Spanish and German speakers to understand me. Sometimes my speech is laughable....and that has nothing to do with my race nor with the races of those to whom I speak.

However, if SoCalMama expresses an opinion "that sounds racist," that is not bullying. It is her opinion. We all have opinions and can all express them. I am hearing a lot of judgments on the forum "that sounds racist" "that sounds homophobic" "that sounds sexist." Sometimes I agree that the post sounds that way, sometimes I do not. Whether we agree with how another forum member says a post "sounds" to them, those comments are opinions. Stating something sounds racist does not amount to bullying. Can we not just all express our opinions without constant accusations of bullying?
Prince inquires: I thought US didn't have an official language?

Bob's opinion: It is my understanding you are correct; that is why I chose the verbiage "mother tongue."
