Marketforce payment

There seem to be a lot more problems with payment for the Canadian shoppers. I'm sorry our Canadian friends are having so much trouble. Hope it gets worked out soon. Keep us posted on what happens.

MF showed payment for my May shops on the 26th on the website, and payment was received, in full, on the 28th. I didn't do many shops in June, so I'm not really worried. I do use the money for other shops, and things would be a little tight for a week or so, until money from other MSCs started rolling in, but I can live with that. I shop places I would be going anyway. I have accepted several shops for July. If, for some reason I don't get paid, all I am out is the five minutes or so it takes to do the reports. If things go back to normal, and I get paid, well, that's just icing on the cake.

Anyone get their payment by direct deposit? For the Canadians who are still waiting for payment that are still waiting direct deposit. Anyone got their money? STILL NOTHING here from an Albertan. Not sure I will even get paid at this rate jeez. Or am I the only one??

I just got the notice from my bank of pending payment from MarketForce, for both payments showing on the MF payment page. It looks like I was paid in full for my May shops and for my first June Shop.

I am in Toronto.

I'm sure it will be between the 15th and 20th of the month as stated on website. If not, then I'm sure they will be investigating the problem as before to determine the cause.

Maryanne, FWIW, when I spoke with my scheduler at the end of June, he said that the payroll issues were resolved. This was after I told him I was not doing any more shops until I got paid. Take that at face value.

I never received a check from them for June 2019. This is the first time it's happened. They've been pretty good about paying over the last year. What bothers me is that they are not responding to my emails. I've called them, but they just tell me to send an email. They insist they can do nothing by phone. Does anyone have a good contact for them for resolving issues?

I don't but did you check the thread that was already started about this? I think it's called "Market Force Payment." Right now, it's a few down from this one. Perhaps someone on that thread can help.

Thanks, looks like that post is for May direct deposit. Mine is for check payment for June. Not sure if it is related. Probably. I did notice that they keep changing the check dates in my payment details. It sounds like they may be having financial problems.

Well I got paid a few weeks back- finally. MF has a recent history of LATE shopper payments these last few months--- so I am watching and limiting my shops until I see a more on-time paying history. A hallmark of not being able to meet payroll (and then sometimes bankruptcy later) is being late paying your contractors.................It DOES happen. I got burned for about $300 in pizza shops a few years ago when NSS went under...............Could MF be next? Maybe. Hope not. If MF is smart they will pay ON TIME from now on (or earlier) to waylay speculation on bankruptcy.

NSS went under because the owner committed suicide, not because they went bankrupt. It was a much smaller operation than Marketforce, too.

June payment doesn't disburse until July 15-20 for direct deposit. Check payment may be even later. I got my first check around the 22nd and switched to DD after.

@calsim11 I've noticed a lot of these cryptic snarky messages from you about MF. What's your history with this company? Aside from getting shouted down here after you posted unsubstantiated rumors about the company, I mean. Do you have a grudge?

I'm all for being cautious and treading lightly when a company disappoints our expectations (especially as regards to payment), but you seem to be highly critical and I'm wondering if you're still shopping for them? Apologies if you've already mentioned it somewhere in this super long thread. I tried to go back and search but the moderator's removal of some posts due to your inflammatory comments makes searching difficult. I found where you said that you were owed money when the issue first came up, but can't tell if you're still actively shopping for them.

I'm a shopper just like you maybe; however, I suspect you are a troll CaliGirl925. Yes, payment is supposed to be between the 15th - 20th. I simply restated their policy, unless they have a problem as they did before where they had to investigate the payment problem and payments weren't made till the 28th. What's your problem with that statement? Yes, I shop for MF, do you?

Critical week for MF, Monday is the 15th and Saturday is the 20th. Will it be a repeat like last month?

I do shop for MF. If you go back and review the thread (as I did before I posted), you'll see that I posted the day my May payment from MF hit my account as well as where I talk about receiving a small payment for one shop done in early June before that May payment was received.

A troll? perhaps. But none of my posts have yet had to be removed by the moderators for being unsubstantiated rumor-mongering. So I got that going for me.

Yes, the 15th and no announcement re: shopper pay. And every one of my June shops is still on the receipts page, meaning they have NOT been approved for payment.

MF has gone from 90% of my MS income to roughly less than 30%.

They have achieved 0% level for me as 0 shops where I live for about the past year.

MF has until the 20th to make June shopper payments per their website. After the 20th is time to get concerned. Haven't seen a message on their website yet.

It’s actually “around” that time according to their ICA we agreed to:

“All compensation will be paid in arrears via check or direct deposit around the 15th to 20th of each calendar month”

I know it says it differently elsewhere on their website but they fall back on the ICA when asked. I have pointed this discrepancy out to them but they have still not changed the website.

I just received my DD for July pay for the remainder of my June shops. No notice, no deposit information on MF Page.

Anyone else get paid today?

Nope. No money here. Maybe this time the Canadians got paid first and the US shoppers will have to wait. Hope it's not too late or I'll start canceling shops with high reimbursement because I can't take the risk of non-payment.
