HS BRANDS Payment delay

While I am glad to have been paid, I should not have to send numerous messages to receive a payment nearly 100 days after a shop was completed.

Anyone know when HS Brands sends payment? I did several shops for then in May and June. No pay, and I can't find anyone to contact.
Email I just received:

"Hi
Our standard payment terms are 60 days from the last day of the month the shop was done and you will typically get paid between 45 and 75 days from when you submit your completed report.
Thank you
Jackie

Example May shops - 60 days from May 31st so payments will be made around 8/15/19"

Apparently 60 days after May 31st is August 15th.

No point shopping for that company anymore....
Once a shopper develops shops with a good number of companies, all with varying payment terms, the important thing is to have reasonable cash flow, overall, each month. I just track what will be due each month and, if necessary, adjust who I shop for a bit to even out the cash flow.

HS Brands happens to have a few shops per month that pair well with other shops to may profitable one-day routes. Since some of those would not be profitable without adding the HSB shop(s), it is well worth my while to include them. Paid to park (plus reimbursement) in a city center, within walking distance of three other shops? Done deal!

Remember, logistics, logistics, logistic is THE thing that makes or breaks a day's profit; Do not Ignacio ignore an MSC that could make that difference. Especially, one that DOES pay, and often a bit above market standard for their assignments. (At least the ones that I do.)

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
Payment for April shops came 83 days after the end of April. Today marks 75 days after the end of May.
I did some shops for them earlier this year. They paid more than two months after the shop date.
No payment for May shops as of 8/15. $5 fee for their burger shop is hardly "above market standard"
So, why do the shops with low fees, unless you needed the burger lunch anyway and would otherwise have paid fir it? Or, park at one of their valet parking shops (above market pay, plus reimbursement) and use that time to walk to a lunch shop, and/or a bank shop that have nice fees because parking nearby is expensive and most shoppers will not do them.

What does that have to do with HS Brands not following the payment schedule set forth by their ICA?
I don't want to speak for @walesmaven, but I think the point is that HS Brands has always been one of the slower paying MSCs. If the shops you do for them aren't worth waiting 75 days for payment, then they're probably not worth waiting 83 days after the shop date either. You either find their shops valuable or you don't.

Not everyone needs to be paid fast for shopping and reimbursements. If you need fast payment, there are other MSCs out there who do a better job. But for those that have a steady stream of payments coming in from HS Brands (consistent jobs done each month mean that after 2 or 3 months, you'll be getting a payment from HS Brands each month), a delay of a few days isn't worth dropping all the assignments that you do for them.

Those who picked up shops with required purchases at the beginning of May will probably be reimbursed near the end of August. Those folks are making a 3.5 month interest-free loan to the MSC. HS Brands recently lengthened their payment terms from 60 days to 75 days after the last day of the month in which a shop was performed. And, they are paying at least a week beyond this new timeframe. It may very well be worth it....

Curiously I got a PayPal for my Measure Consumer Perspective May shops but still nothing for the HS Brands which I get via direct deposit.

This was taken out of context. The beginning of the paragraph starts "Not everyone needs to be paid fast for shopping and reimbursements. If you need fast payment, there are other MSCs out there who do a better job."

If you don't need fast payment, then I stand by my assessment that a few extra days probably doesn't make the shops go from "valuable" to "not valuable". Everyone should decide for themselves, of course.

I was paid for my May shops from Measure this week, and after asking at that payment email, Jackie said that May shops for Service Sleuth will be paid next week. I hope you get yours ASAP

So, they are late AGAIN this month?
I stand by my response, also. There's a lot more to this than the "few extra days." Many folks are waiting to be reimbursed for out-of-pocket expenses required to do their shops. HS Brands lengthened their already excessively-long reimbursement/payment period and did so without informing shoppers. On top of that, they are not even sticking to their new schedule. That's a big problem.

I actually got a payment Friday but I can't back track the amount to any job(s). Do they ever screw up in the amounts when paying? I was anticipating about $360 (July job), but they sent this rando $40 payment. Now that I read this thread, I'm kind of lucky that this stuff doesn't make or break my budget. Floating $100s in reimbursement for two months isn't awesome, but it is what it is.

No excuse for this. And also there is no specific date we are paid - it could be any random date and is typically now at the end of the 3rd month or into the 4th month from shop date. I actually feel sorry for the scheduler who does not work for HS Brands/Measure Consumer Perspectives. Same shops on the board day after day after day and week after week. Some shops are even bonused more than the regular payment and still no takers.

Pathetic.
Dongjuan, is it possible that was a payment for a MCP shop? I got my May payments for MCP via a Paypal that said it was from HS Brands last week, but I haven't gotten the actual HS Brands payment yet.
I too have a May shop that is still unpaid after 90 days. I won't be shopping for Service Sleuth EVER again. Beyond ridiculous when companies like Ipsos pay a week or two after the shop!
You know it really is sad about the way they are so arrogant about themselves and will violate their own part of the ICA. Shoppers are running away like crazy. There are numerous shops on the boards that I could so easily do - and enjoy doing them; especially since they have a bonus. But I won't because of their inexcusably slow payment. And yes, it is slower (payment comes much later) than what is defined in the ICA.
I completed a project on MAY 1, 2019 for HS Brands: I have NOT been paid yet, in spite of my efforts to discuss this matter with the billing department. It is now 110 days past the project date, going on four months. Nope: Not paid yet. Totally unacceptable. I Shopper beware.
