Confero Payment Issues

Is anyone having trouble getting payment from them after the shops on their new platform? Received an e-mail on Oct 21 that they ran into delays with the new system and were working on it that day. I still haven't been paid. I see the scheduler has more but I am not doing a single one until I get paid for all the ones I did.

Hmmm....I've not done any shops on that side yet. On the Sassie side, they USUALLY pay as stated in their terms of payment. But on occasion, they have run a week or so late...which then prompts me to send them an email. Is your payment actually late according to their payment terms? If so, have you tried emailing anyone yet??
Yup. It is late. A certain high level person e-mailed everyone on the 21st to let us know and said it would be fixed that day. They claim it is a delay because of the new system or something. Fast forward to today, still nothing. No response from anyone.
If you can take a screen shot of the shops you are overdue for, and then write a polite, but firm, email with the screenshot of the overdue shops, requesting your overdue payment, to the following people (to all 3 at the same time in one email), repeating daily if need be, to get your payment, that may help you. I have done that myself several times, and it has helped, when they have been late. Also, copy/paste that portion of the email that said when the issue would be fixed, and state that you have not been paid yet. Hope this helps!

I just went into their Shopmetrics portal. It showed my profile was 0% complete. When I clicked on the profile, it appeared all my information had been imported over from the Sassie platform EXCEPT for my PayPal e-mail address.

When I updated it, it was not saved. When I added it a second time, it just clocked with the three dots scrolling over and over.

Perhaps, since you completed the shops in ISS, your Shopmetrics profile doesn't show your PayPal e-mail address?
I did a ton of phone shops for them on the Shopmetrics side, and according to their payment schedule, I should have received some payments already. That email that was sent out on the 21st blamed the delay on their being "new to this system," said that they "ran into some issues," and yes, that they would fix it that day. They asked that we update our profiles with our PayPal email address, which I did immediately. I just checked my profile and it is still there and correct. Apparently the problem has not yet been resolved. This is rather irksome. I sent an email to the person who sent that message, as she is also the manager who seems to be in charge of this big phone shop project. Have not received a reply yet.

I received a reply from the manager I emailed. I asked when I could expect my overdue payment. She said they are still working on the issue. No further details. How exasperating!
Same. Sent her multiple emails as well as the other email addresses. No response. Just messaged them on FB. I’m considering filing their first BBB complaint against them. I haven’t been paid for my August shops.
Wow. Glad she answered you. She never responded to me. It doesn’t take this long to PayPal!
I received a reply on yesterday (Tues.) late afternoon from Elaine Buxton, the Prez/CEO. She wrote that they are "working on getting these payments issued today" -- well, those payments didn't come through for me. Grrr.

She also said this is their first project on ShopMetrics as well as their "first collaborative project with another provider." What does that mean -- another MSC? Or is she talking about Shopmetrics? I don't get it. Either way, why should I care whether it's the first or the hundredth? She blamed it on the Shopmetrics platform having a "steeper learning curve than expected," but why didn't they do a test run with dummy shops on the platform before launching it to real-life shoppers who depend on getting paid on time? It's not the shoppers' problem that Confero did not do their due diligence.

She also stated that Confero is "on our way" to resolving the issues, but "on our way" just sounds like a non-committal way of saying it ain't fixed yet and we don't don't know when it will be fixed. She did apologize but this whole thing still sucks.

Wow. Apologies do not pay bills or work with debtors. I just sent an e-mail this morning to those three e-mails listed above ^^^. I get e-mails to do more shops too. They need to pause until they can resolve it and get payment out. Some were bonused too, and I could have done them.
Today I received one big payment from Confero, for all the shops I have completed in September and October. Hopefully, the rest of you will see your payments come through as well!
