Where Are You Shopping Today?

I may or may not have a shoe shop today. The shop has a reimbursement of $35. The cheapest shoe that I would want would have me out of pocket $35. I have to check nearby stores to see what their sale prices are.

I did that shoe store Sunday. It was a mess, because there were about 25 people (groups of families) in the store (back to-school-shopping). Tired and bored kids were either running around the store or sprawled out on the benches where people try on shoes and I had to ask them to move so I could try on shoes (parents completely ignoring the fact that their kids were in the way of other shoppers). I spent 40 minutes in the store because the store associates did not want to assist customers and were not approaching them (overwhelmed maybe?). They also were out of a lot of shoe sizes between size 7-9. But, this was a smaller store compared to some of the others in my area. If you go, don't wait until later today because parents getting off work might be taking their kids for last minute back-to-school shoe shopping.

There is nothing in the guidelines stating you can't return the shoes. But if you decide to keep them, they have a deal going on right now, buy one pair get one pair half off with some brand exclusions.
A grocery store merchandising visit, 1 Sam's Club brochure replacement, 6-9 convenience stores (depending on how motivated I feel).

I don't see Five Guys anymore. I wonder if my company doesn't get those anymore in my area or if just I don't.
Irene, that scheduler offers 3 different shops for Habit: dinner, lunch for one, and lunch for two. Which did you get? I'm waiting on the lunch for two.

Now to Friday
4 bonused grocery stores
2 bonused Barnes & Noble
1 Habit
1 bonused Chevron
Plus working 9-9-8 hours at the regular job
Avoiding walking outdoors again. Doing 2 garages where I can just take the elevator to an air conditioned space with food and WjFi. Tomorrow, a period of relief from the heat starts, so I will finish all of my remaining August shops over the next few days of tolerable air quality.

Would love to find an oil change shop but can't find them anymore. Doing 3 Kroger shops tomorrow and 2 food shops this weekend.
Yesterday was 5Guys lunch, today was Sonic Breakfast and tomorrow is a gas station.

Thanks JAS! I forgot about back to school crowds. I thought I had to keep the shoes.

I canceled the shop when I saw what the store had to offer. If I'm going to spend my own money, I may as well get what I want.

Yeah, I bought a cute pair of boots...that cost $58 and I didn't need, so I took them back. I thought $35 wasn't a bad shop fee, and if it hadn't been an unusual circumstance, worth it. I have done the shop when it only took me 20-25 minutes in store. The report is fairly easy and takes less than 30 minutes to complete.
Speaking of back-to-school crowds.... While I was waiting for my time to retrieve my vehicle from a parking shop, I sat in optometry store next door, to escape the heat. The place was a mob scene of parents and children and teens, all getting the kids' check-ups and new glasses. And, that was a weekday! I was fortunate to even find an open chair. Fair warning to anyone thinking of picking up EOM bonuses for those types of shops.

Wales and Honny...has the cooler weather hit your area yet? It's been 70s here (highs) last few days.
There is no oppressive humidity today where I live. Welcome change. Haven't shopped much because of schoolwork and other stuff but today I am doing a grocery shop, gas station, bar, and casual dinner shop

Today was my gas station shop. It was more of an evaluation of the c-store. It went well; I love when that happens.

A hotel valet video and an extended garage shop (with extended fee). A gorgepus day in the DMV, and Congress is still out of town, so little traffic.

Getting paid to drive today for product retrievals. Another gorgeous day in NE Ohio!
JAS, are these in people's private homes??? I've seen several of these in my area, but I'm so cautious about taking any where I have to go to people's homes. They might already be upset at something not working/tasting right, and I don't want them taking their anger out on me!! So, just wondering, if it is at someone's house, could you post back later and say how it went??? I don't mind doing the ones where you retrieve stuff from stores, but not so sure about going to someone's home.
