In that case then, your ****** worker had no idea what they were talking about and need to be updated in **** rules.

The free priority mail packaging may only be used for shipping via priority mail. Look at the inside of one of the boxes or Tyveks, it's printed all over it. They print it over the entire insides because people were getting the boxes and turning them inside out.

I did 2 of these yesterday and mailed things to myself at my po box. It was a little over 1 lb. The shops took 7 minutes to do.... easy breezy!! I will do more of the ready post. I am glad we do nto have to take a test. I did not print out the info.... I just took notes.

I like doing these shops, don't get me wrong. But it's really a hit or miss. Sometimes, the line at the post office is so long and it takes anywhere from 25-45 minutes to do it. Just the other day, I had 8 different shops lined up in a route and had to visit 2 post offices all by 1pm, because that's when they were closing. Well, the first shop I did was one of the the post offices. I spent 35 minutes there. Blew my whole schedule out of the water. It was good I gave myself some extra time just in case. But I would put this one in a miss column...

I've had a few that have taken forever due to the lines. One when Maritz still had them disputed my report because I said I was in line for 40 minutes. The Maritz scheduler called me and I had to give him a little more info. I think they watched the security tapes to confirm what I reported.

Priority boxes are just Prioity boxes." If U reuse a Priority box the shop loses money. B/c it has already been sold, Plus it indicates a certain way UR mail will travel The shop would rather You purchase a fresh box than reuse an used box. If it is illegal or a penalty for doing so then as the other poster said ,"used at own risk."

Regular Box Shop A does not require the mailed items to be in a box. It only equires your "PACKAGE" to be wrapped b4 visiting the shop. Only one of my Scenarios A was in a box, my cereal. Everything esle was wrapped in a brown paper bag, that met the weight requirement.

BTW, the mailing carton 15 x 12 x 10 is a box. Keep that in mind when you do the Scenario C (the Dim weight measurement) Shop.

Some of U sound like you did a Saturday shop. Yeah that is when the lines are long and the time is limit.

Shop-a-loic: How they let U do 8 shops in one day? The max here is 4 a day or 20 a week, and no repeats.

I had 8 shops total that day. Only 2 of them were PO shops.

BTW, I just realized that we all have been in violation here. We've been openly discussing the client when the title of this thread mentions the company. Not sure how this could be remedied at this point.

I didn't read back through the posts, but has anyone said the exact name? The title says shipping company.

I will check back through mine and edit any if needed.
I don't think there has been a violation. The MSP name is noted and some of the shop requirements are discussed, but the client has not been identified.
I have a Ready Post for tomorrow. I have to purchase a box (scenario cool smiley I really do have something to send my brother & it is over 3 lbs. I happen to already have a ready post box here. I wonder if I can use that and just purchase another one. It says to try and not let the postmaster see what you put in the box. Well this way they couldn't! But, it that against what they want you to do?
There have been numerous mentions of the particular type of office that this shop is done at. That type of office only belongs to one entity in this country. I may be wrong, but it seems like that's a no-no.
I thought it probably would be. But it was a good thought!
What is it with this company and their 3 day shopping window. I wish we could schedule these a little further into the future, like we used to be able to with Maritz.

In general, I find Bare bad about this. Many shops are offered without lots of lead time, and to make matters worse, some schedulers are very late with notification. And of course, unlike other MSCs, if you don't get the shop, there's no notification at all.

Yeah, I've noticed it. That is really inconvenient.

According to the guidelines for Scenerio B "Select the most appropriate RP P to purchase that is suitable for your item, IT MUST BE ONE OF THE FOUR PACKAGES LISTED ABOVE."

I hope u read this, I don't wwant U to not get paid.
I just got their email offering a job nearby. Clicked on it and it was already scheduled. All within 30 seconds....how is this possible.
You are not the only ONE getting their autonate generated emails.. Most shops are on their website b4 the emails goes out.
Most of these are assigned to shoppers who check the job boards without an e-mail, so most shops are assigned before an e-mail goes out. By the time you get an e-mail and go to the site, it's luck if it's still there,......
I have completed 4 shops, paid yesterday via direct deposit. I have another one scheduled this week. I just accept them when they fit in with other shops.

Also, I noticed a rate increase to $15.00 for some shops; listed as Holiday Bonus.
I have done several of these. Cleaned out the closet and sold stuff on Ebay for a low amount and that way you get to keep the postage too! Bare was great to work with me. One of the locations I had a shop at closed Wed at noon the day my shop was scheduled and I got there in the afternoon. Who would have ever thought that? Anyway I was all stressed because it was my first shop ever that my report would be a day late. I emailed the scheduler and was honest with him and he rescheduled for the next day. The shops are easy if you are observant and the reports are easy. Anyway I've been making a game out of it, the most stressful part for me is wondering if my stuff is going to sell on Ebay.
I loved these shops - hope to get them on a regular basis! Scored a 10 on my first one and I was so nervous about it - did 2 more this week. I filled boxes with junk mail, wrapped them in brown paper & mailed them to myself so I can use the boxes again. I was in and out in under 7 minutes from each one.
I got a 9. Mailed the box to myself, and it arrived crushed.

Bummer - were you able to collect on the insurance? winking smiley
It was a box of Wheaties inside the box smiling smiley I did it for the ten bucks, but lost a perfectly good boot box in the process. The shop, I gather, has with both MSPs been about customer service and upsell. The end result, that being timely delivery and condition of the item on arrival, is not a concern?
I would LOVE to see the insurance claim on a crushed box of Wheaties smiling smiley
I've done 17 Ready Post and regular box shops in the past three weeks. I went out the day after Halloween and bought some leftover Halloween candy for $1.19 a bag that ways between 1 and two pounds. I keep shipping the same candy back home over and over. lololol I'm loving these shops because they require so little time. I at first was using boxes, but found that using bubble envelopes was just fine for the "regular box" shops. I can by packages of 12 that wind up being about a dollar each that will hold the candy bags. They have approved the shops where I put in the total amount for the box. I'll just use it 12 times and then scan a new receipt when I buy more. The MSP paid me this past week for the five that I completed in October so now I'm taking all I can get because I'll get paid right before Christmas for the ones I finish by Tuesday! Irene, I sure hear you about the ebay days. I used to sell scrapbooking supplies on ebay and this would have been an awesome way to do business!

Ha - I guess not!
I didn't see this one and selected one of their pretty pink bubble envelopes to ship a package home to see my grandaughter smile. lol They paid me, but the scheduler called me to ask if the packaging was ready post or not. I told her yes. I won't do that again. Someone else might not be so generous.

I am considering doing the scenario B. So you go in and buy a box, then put your *whatever* in it and give it to the clerk? Do you walk away with the box and put it in the shoot? You guys make it sound so simple.....or is it?

Maritz was far more strict with them. You had to use one of the four allowed ReadyPost mailers.
