FIVE GUYS IS BACK!!

Seems like they got new shoppers in my area, since some locations that were always available into the weekend have been disappearing by Thursday. But as often happens, one of these new shoppers must have bailed, because this week's lunch became available again. It's currently at $25, and I got a call offering that, but I got $30 last time and asked for that instead. Either it was denied or there isn't anyone on duty to approve them today since it's still sitting out there. The shop is not in MAO, or I would have asked for $30 online. I can wait.

Also haven't gone back in rotation for my closest location, even though I did it a month ago. I did see the delivery shop, and took it for $10. Not sure if their system is broken, or if they banned me from that location (can they even do that in their system?).

Has anyone ordered the BREAKFAST items? They're available "all day" at a location. I wonder if that would lead to an excluded report. I don't remember seeing that option on the report. They did not say you couldn't, but they're pretty clear they'd most like you to get a burger, and probably least like you to get something like that.

The location at LaGuardia airport opened early and had breakfast. I remember I did it early once and got breakfast, but I haven't seen that location on the shop boards since the pandemic.
So, I did not get the $30 that the phone scheduler put in for, and they got someone else to do the shop. Then they called me today for another dropped shop. I had gotten $30 for it last time but asked for $35 since I didn't really feel like doing it, and I'd be going out of pocket for the shake at that location. She would not take that request, but it was MAO, so I submitted one for$35 around noon. They have not approved or rejected it yet, which means that maybe I'll find out tomorrow if I'm going to have to do it (I put in for tomorrow and cannot go on Wednesday).

Seems like after the crazy amounts that people were getting a few weeks ago, they're retrenching and trying to lowball people.

I have noticed that if I take a delivery shop for a location I then stop seeing the on site shops for that location until maybe 3 weeks to a month have passed. So it looks like delivery shops put you out of rotation for a location...again.
So, I never got assigned the shop I put in a $35 MAO on, and now it's not available. Doesn't really upset me, since I didn't really feel like driving a half hour just to do the shop. But this morning, I noticed that I had received a Samantha offer yesterday morning offering me the same $35, which I had not noticed until today. Yet the phone scheduler would not submit my $35 request and the MAO approver sat on my request. They really are amazing.

So, Uber Eats changed their promotion, and now I need to spend $25 to get 40% off, which means a minimum of $15+tax. So that takes away that option for doing the delivery shop without going over the $15 reimbursement. At least I got $10 for the shop and have a 5% cash back offer for FG on my credit card.
Question for 5G shoppers - I get that this is individualized but I'll still ask: I remember reading here that 5G management SHOWS video footage to store staff if a shopper gives negative feedback. Is that true? I ask because there store in a convenient area for me - but last time I had to give negative comments - -- as in very negative comments. I'm not sure if its safe for me to go back there. If you met this staff - you'd feel similar.
I believe most locations access their footage no matter how the report scored, at least in my area. I have one location that always meet all their marks and I am pretty sure they know I'm a shopper.

I've used this promotion as well. Works great when you are required to purchase a milkshake. But otherwise at least you get a lot of food. I think last time I got the full size bacon burger with a large fries and drink.
They DEFINITELY watch

I've found the same thing - 5G shops that used to sit for weeks are now disappearing quickly, and rarely getting to the $25 bonus stage. This just started happening over the past month or so.
I thought it was the typical slowdown after Christmas, but I am seeing fewer and fewer shops every week. I have one shop for this weekend.

I suspect they have changed how they display shops as I am often called about shops that are not currently on the board. But the shops seem to fly off of the board and I am getting more calls later in the weekend.
I did my very first 5G shop this weekend and messed it up. I ordered the regular burger instead of the little burger and was shocked at the $20 price tag. Now I know what you guys mean by the high prices and waiting for the bonuses. One burger + fries is enough for 2 people, but still...

Another rant is the fact they called and offered me a whopping $6 to do a shop when it was $25 online. I said no and they immediately countered with $18. Still no. Do they think we're stupid or something?

I have been told that they do not have access to the boards and do not know what it is listed for.
Picked up my first $15 shopper fee for a delivery shop.

Normally they start at $5 and disappear at $10 so when it hit $15 today I snagged it.

Then I noticed all the dine in shops disappeared, but that's okay because they were all paying just $15 right now too.
I'm doing a shop today for $30.

Someone must have dropped one last minute here, as I received an email for the closest location to me for $35. I was surprised when I logged in and it was still there. They have been disappearing here for $15 - $17, when they used to sit until $20 - $30.
I notice mention on here of getting high or at least your standard med high offers from Samantha. She seems to lowball me and sends an offer that is less than I would do any shop let alone the slightly further out ones she offers.
drying up big time here. Everything already gone by yesterday for this weekend. Never got above $15 offer.
Has anyone had trouble getting 5 Guys shops to "submit"? I always have to e-mail them as they show incomplete no matter what I do.
In NJ the basic order (small burger, small fries, regular drink) is up again. Now $15.75 off $15.45 reimbursement.

It's really annoying that they refuse to put any head room in there. Make the reimbursement $20 so I can afford a slice of cheese. It goes back to the client anyway. And the MSC still tries to nickel and dime on the fees, so now they have to hope I'm available during the brief time in which they offer enough but haven't missed the deadline.

Well it looks like they may have finally raised the reimbursement. They just posted shops for 4/27 showing $17.25 reimbursement. Still not enough for a little cheeseburger in my area though!
Yay, I see the $17.25 reimbursement coming up late next month also, but that still doesn't cover a little burger, little fries and drink in my area. But it will cover a veggie sandwich or grilled cheese.
I don't know how they can sustain these prices. I like their grilled cheese with tomatos and onions.

The shops for this coming week are now also showing $17.25. Delivery shops are still at $30 (with max food reimbursement of $15).

I am going to have to start going back to taking $25 for my local FG shops. Have been holding out for $30 and someone else has been getting them. They definitely seem to have more shoppers in my area than they did at the beginning of the year.

Update -- delivery shops are now up to $20 reimbursement for food. Maybe someone read my post smiling smiley.
I didn't get a single shop for this weekend.
