What are you having for dinner? AGAIN!

Grilled, late lunch/early dinner. Asparagus, sweet red peppers and zucchini, tossed with evo, s&p, fresh basil. Boneless, skinless chicken thighs with a citrus and honey marinade. A couple of hours later, dessert, also on the grill, buttered slices of pound cake and fresh peaches, topped with yogurt and honey.

I think tonight will be salmon. Not sure what I'm doing with it yet though.

Went with a honey lime recipe that was decent. I think I can improve on it.

Suggestion for salmon: smoked paprika and olive oil, then bake until done through.

This recipe was tasty. Slices of lime and juice of 2 limes, 1/4 cup honey, 1/2 cup melted butter, 1T minced garlic wrap it all in tinfoil and bake. Garnish with cilantro.
Unfortunately none of the tatstes made it into the fish. It was ok if you spooned the juice over each bite but I was hoping for more flavor without that.

Not fond of fish. *pinches nose* But I would be willing to try a variation on the lime theme. First, I would try lime-ginger.

A good day for a simple supper: chicken, mashed potato, green beans.

Side salad from chik fil a with a free milkshake. Corn on cob from whole foods (10 for $1)
I'm so upset that milkshakes are the free items this month (I have 2 cards). I mean I like them ok, but they're not that great and they're like eating an extra meal. I probably won't get mine.

Tonight will be chicken wings, fries, and something else yet to be decided.

I have zero inspiration for dinner. I may go with home fried potatoes and baked beans. We've had salad every night for about a week. Although now that I think about brinner, maybe I'll give the spouse the baked beans and pair my home fried taters with a fried egg. The alternative is a Papa Johns shop and I am not crazy about their pizza.
I've got 2 cards myself ! To me the milkshakes aren't that special but I had one and it was ok. I see many people buy them though. What you may want to try is ask the cashier (who will probably have to ask the manager) if you can get a bottle of water instead. I tell them I am lactose intolerant, which I am to a point, and they have done this before. Worth a try.

That's very location dependent. Some will substitute whatever, my local one isn't quite as good.
Not as bad as the one in New Jersey a few weeks ago who wouldn't serve me breakfast at 10:31. I mean seriously. All of the ones in the south will fix you breakfast a few minutes late unless they have already put the breakfast items back in the freezer.

I'm finally grocery shopping today so I'm making a black bean and avocado salad with quinoa, cherry tomatoes and a lime vinaigrette. I"ll also roast some chickpeas with olive oil and rosemary and make some pico de gallo to have with brown rice.
I have defrosted some of my homemade Mu Shu pork to have with Chinese pancakes and Hoisin sauce. Trying to decide to eat this cold or heated.
