Butternut squash soup and french bread. I put 6 vegetables in it and use my immersion blender. It's so thick it does not need cream or milk. One of the few non meat dishes I love.
Duck breast, twice baked potatoes, steamed fresh green beans, a nice red wine

It is very wintry here today, with a fair helping of snow for the next 2 days or so. I have made a lentil soup/stew. It gains flavor from some hot Italian sausage that I fried and drained before adding and vitamins from carrots, spinach and a little celery. The base is low fat chicken broth, so it is quite health. I will add some feta cheese crumbles to the top of the bowl and have garlic bread to mop it up. Thanks to Honny's suggestion, I have tried (and love) the Nighthawk Black that she mentioned in the wine thread. It should be a perfect wine for this meal.

Whichever version of stuffed chicken breast comes to light first in the freezer. With that: the last of the leftover twice-baked potatoes and garlic sauteed spinach.
