We had a rough busy afternoon installing a new slide in oven. Instead of trying it out, we heated a can of ravioli. But now I have a convection oven!
This was a 'using things up' night before we go out of town tomorrow. I made a Kung Pao Tofu stirfry with green peppers and frozen broccoli/cauliflower/carrot mixture. Served over brown rice. Hubby brought home Hot and Sour soup from our favorite Chinese carryout place and oranges for dessert.

Turkey and dressing. My sister gave me a turkey because her freezer went out. I froze most of it for future meals.

Chili Chicken lime burger from Trader Joe's, topped with guacamole and pico de gallo made fresh from grocery store, mac and cheese (frozen) from Trader Joe's, and a kale salad.

I love their Mandarin Orange Chicken. They were sampling that in the store and I couldn't believe something that good could come out of a frozen bag of food.

I like to doctor it up a bit with additions of some cashews shortly before the chicken is done and some green onions after it comes out of the oven. Yummy.

In room picnic, sort of, in my hotel on day 8 of this route. From last night's delivery (Jacksonville FL) from a local Italian restaurant, left over lasagna (reheated) , great French bread, and wilted spinach. Red wine from my travel stash. Chocolate from hotel welcome package for dessert.
Will watch a seven hour video upload (much like watching paint dry). Could not upload last night, so I have three long shops queued up. Actually, if it does not abort by 10 PM, I will just go to bed and trust to the video gods who have been known to be generous to fools.

I didn't cook because it was Turkey Tuesday!!! There is a local restaurant that cooks Turkey every Tuesday with homemade gravy, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce and homemade stuffing. Mmmmm....good. And it's only $9 and they give you enough for 2 meals. I got dinners for me and my parents today and had dinner with them.

Today is Ash Wednesday and fasting and abstinence for Catholics. I discovered I had no fish in the fridge. I had some lobster tails and made lobster bisque, which will be for the only one full meal of the day. I will also have some toast, celery and carrot sticks for dinner.
