CRI SHOP RATINGS

Can you tell me how the rate shops are they on a 10 point scale or something different. I'm waiting for my shop to be edited from the other day so when I receive my score I know how were I stand.

They are super easy-going with their ratings. Unless something was done to disallow the shop, most receive a 5.

I thought they only have two ratings. 5 and disallowed.

Me too, but someone once posted they got a 3 or 4. Maybe the shopper had them confused with another company.

That's all I've ever gotten too. Although my average score is 3.7 due to a couple of cancelled shops a couple of years back. I could care less about my score though, not like it makes me any more money having a high score.

I have noticed with a higher score I am able to self assign more shops. Under 4.0 and I could only assign only 5 of a certain gas station. Over 4.0 & I have assigned 10. The other gas station the limit is 15 for self assigning.

I guess I don't have enough shops in my area to ever max out on self assignments so I didn't know that smiling smiley
With CORI, even Dead People get a 5...grinning smiley

Shopping Bama and parts of Georgia.
I'm still learning 24/7.

So true! However, one little misdeed & I am down to a 4.2 average. Misdeed meaning rescheduling due to snow twice.
I performed two shops for CRI this past weekend, however, for some reason, when I try to log in to their website on IE it does not allow me to access the site. Evidently CRI has no tech department and I have been going back and forth for five hours today trying to get someone to help me figure out the problem so I can resubmit my reports that I had to try to force submit through Firefox Saturday night that were incomplete. Has anyone ever had problems using IE to access CRI's website? I literally have received no help and every time I ask if I can email them a scanned copy of the reports the question is completely ignored. Not happy about this. I have now had to cancel a couple shops I have scheduled for today with other companies because of the ineptitude of the CRI staff. Any insight, help or suggestions would be appreciated. No matter what I am going to lose money doing these shops for this compnay now. Best case is only losing $40. Worst $105. Not cool at all. I have had no tech issues with Bestmark, GFK, Bare International or Shoppers' Critique. Of course none of them require report submission via IE either.
I'm sorry I've only completed one shop for them that was last week I used IE and had no issues. I stated away from this MC for awhile do to people experiencing problems submitting reports. Have you searched the feeds on here there is a great deal of information where people have discussed issues and things to fix them.

Thanks for the input. I am no longer going to shop with this company. One day worth of two unpaid shops, travel expenses, cancelled shops with other companies trying to iron out this issue and daycare have set me back about $115 cash plus two entire days of my time because I am going to assume I won't get paid because I can't submit my shops. My contact will not even address my question about emailing in my report or offering me any suggestions for a workaround solution.
I have done about 60 shops for them, never had a problem. Is their web site down? I can only use IE, chrome does not work. Which version of IE are you using?
I am using IE10. I have spent more than 9 hours today going back and forth via email. The level of support amounted to "is your popup blocker enabled" and "you just need to mess around with the settings a bit until it works" I was informed IE10 does not work and that I needed IE 6 or IE 7 so I uninstalled IE10 went to download and install IE7 and was told that it is not supported on Windows 7.

My problem is strange. When I enter my auditor id and password and hit enter absolutely nothing happens. it just sits there. It does not pop open another window. It does not give me an error message. The sursor just sits on the enter button and nothing happens.

I've cleared cookies and web history. Made sure popups were enabled per the "expert" tech support I recieved, rebooted and still nothing. This also happens to me when I try to login to Bestmark via IE. I can log into other sites via IE such as my yahoo mail account, gfk and a couple others.

I have requested somebody else's assistance but was told no. I asked to escalate the issue all day long and only after I had had enough and started getting into it with the person who has not been helping me did she advise he would be gone until Wednesday, would not be checking his email and she would not page or call him for me.

When asked if I could email a scanned paper copy I was told no. Then after having said person ignore my questions all day long about submitting via email and escalating issue to somebody competent at the end I am told how ungrateful i have been to her and that my contract can be terminated for slander because I had a few negative comments to add after spending 8-9 hours on my email all day, and having to cancel other shops for other companies because I had to waste my time all day long with somebody who finally admitted just a bit ago that they were only capable of providing basic troubleshooting expertise.

I am flabbergasted. Truly unbelievable waste of an entire day with no resolution, nobody willing to assit me, no tech support at the company and threats at the end of the day. Wow. Just wow.

There are quite a few threads on this forum that have addressed the W8 and IE10 problems at Cori.
It amounts to clicking the compatibility view button in the address window on IE10.
Check out [www.mysteryshopforum.com]

Just to double-check your login process, Cori won't accept pressing the enter key after inputting your username and password. You actually have to click the enter button on the screen.

Try the compatibility view, though, and that should do it for you.

If not, try logging in with a different browser just to see if you can. You may not be able to submit a report from a different browser, but at least you can see if your computer may be blocking the site or if your account has somehow become not active.
Thank you elcarev68. I figured there would be something about the issue, but when I did a quick search for CRI earlier on this site I was surprised but nothing came up? I gues I am just technically thorughly illiterate. I will try out the recommendations momentarily. I also might add that the site comes up fine on firefox. That is the browser I used to sign up, test, pull up all my shop materials and communicate with their staff.

One other thing is this is not Windows 8 that I am having problems with but Windows 7. I will still be trying your suggestion after I reinstall Internet Explorer. (Took me awhile to find out how to uninstall that today also which was yet another total waste of my time.)

Unfortunately, my contact at CRI whom I was working with did her company absolutely no favors at all with her inability to answer questions I repeatedly addressed, her vague attempts at tech support, her inability to be gracious or sympathetic in any way, shape or form to the fact that I was a new shopper (for their company) and was having issues.

I'm very disappointed with this company. Especially based on the fact that it is one of the three primary companies recommended in the stickied threads for new shoppers. Today was by far the longest, most time consuming experience with attempted customer service I've experienced in my lifetime and I'm almost 46 years old. My repeated inquiries about submitting the reports via emails were ignored from 9 AM when the question was first posed until well after 4 pm.

My requests at escalation were repeatedly ignored until I demanded a supervisors name and email address. At that point I was told her supervisor was gone until Wednesday and he probably would not be chedking it any time soon. At no point during the entire day did my contact apologize for the troubles I was experiencing or thank me for conducting the shops on behalf of their company. At no time did she offer to allow somebody else to try to assist me even though I requested that multiple times also. In fact I was accused of having wasted her time and threatened with termination of my contract for slander.

I'm glad nobody else has had problems with them. I must be the lucky one.

Thanks again for the assist smiling smiley

And for those checking this topic to see what other shoppers are actually rating CRI, which is why i originally noticed it, I will add my $.02. Based on this experience they would receive a rating of 0 or if allowed, a negative rating.
You may not have found anything with the search because they are usually referred to as CORI in forum world. The reason being there used to be another company called CRI. Confusing I know.

CRI has some good shops in my area. Stellar ones, in fact.

If only it would let me apply for an assignment. It won't let me select a date to do the shop, so I can't request it. I emailed and asked for assistance and gave the shop numbers and dates I could complete them (in hopes of being assigned by a scheduler) and I didn't get much help.

Too bad.

Also, IE is like the worst browser in the world for following W3C coding standards. Why on earth would they design a site that can only be used in IE? I thought gone were the days of "best viewed in X browser" suggestions. It just doesn't make sense to make such a limitation. That's like saying you can only perform phone shops on a rotary telephone... it just doesn't meet today's expectations.

I had a similar problem yesterday like yours, canuck27. I emailed them and got a fast reply. They said they had a shopper doing another shop for the same client and the client wanted 5 days in between jobs. That's why the calendar wouldn't work when I tried clicking it.

I'll wait and see what happens tomorrow.
There are two Canucks here. How weird.

When you pull up the calendar you can only choose days marked in light blue. This is typically the current day and the next 2 days. So today the latest you can pick is 4/6. If you tried for a date behind this is won't let you choose it until that date is in the 3 day window.

LOL Yeah, it is kinda weird!

But that's the thing... every single job I try, nothing is listed in blue.

Cori has been having challenges with their calendars for the mega-hardware shops. I'm sure it's challenging on their end to get it right, as there's a 35-day re-shop period for shoppers at any given location, up to four scenarios going at a given time at every location, and at least one day (maybe more) required in between shoppers at each location.
That said, if you're having trouble finding a date to schedule, just call.
I've done that twice with ones that I couldn't get a assignable date to appear, and they gave me my date of choice both times, with only about three minutes on the phone each time.
So far I only did 8 with 5 each and here is my rating. Guess it will take a while to reach 5 as I do not
like doing shops that are paid too low. And CRI is notorious for that.

"Your auditor rating is 4.8 out of 5."
i'm at about 4.7 now. Nobody really seems to know how they compute it because it's not the "average" of your individual ratings (which are all 5's), it seems to be some factor connected to how many shops you've done. Maybe it's more of an experience rating than a report quality rating?

I pray it does not occur that the last thing I did before I died was vacuum the house or eat broccoli.
I think I read it somewhere here, if I am not mistaken, that the first shop gets 3. I am not sure
how they do it but there are bigger fish to fry.
The SHOP rating for any shop not screwed up is usually a 5. The SHOPPER rating starts out at 3.

If the shopper rating starts at 3 and they graded each shop I did at 5, I should be at 5.37. However, I am at 4.8, so on the next shop I do if I successfully complete it to their satisfaction, I should expect to reach 5.3 but I won't because it does not make sense. Well, as I said, there are bigger fish to fry, why waste time on this?
