Do you know how the business was held? LLC, Inc, etc?
National Shopping Service, LLC was registered in Delaware and California in 2006. In 2010 the registration for CA was removed. It is still an active Delaware LLC.
Their listed registrant is:
Corporation Service Company
2711 CENTERVILLE RD SUITE 400
Wilmington, DE 19808

Harassing, stalking, and confronting former employees is a good way to wind up in jail. Aren't you on a student visa? Surely you can figure out a better way to spend your summer than inciting people to commit felonies.

How do you know he/she is on a student visa? If so, it may mean they don't have much legal recourse since it is possible they were violating the terms of their visa by working as a mystery shopper.

Strange...another wonky piece to the puzzle. I would start sending payment claims to that address also,

This may not do any good, but in addition to the resources others have listed in this thread, has anybody filed a complaint with the BBB?

Nah, just happen to have the right contact people at the moment.
Edited to add: Just got this advice from my probate attorney's legal assistant...

If the first person to make contact with Spencer M. listed above can let us all know if that was the correct route it will save a whole lot of us bombarding this attorney with emails and requests if it turns out to not be the path.
Thanks.

He mentioned he was on a 4 year student visa on a different thread. His status might have changed since he posted that.

THIS is my concern. Someone is going in there and changing things..... We need to copy everything and I urge everyone owed money... to get all their information off the NSS site before they shut it down. I wonder how long that is going to take if no-one is maintaining the website? Here is what I just did: I printed out my ICA agreement. It shows I signed it in the year 2012 with the date and time.@roflwofl wrote:
I did not see NSS on the MSPA list of member companies, but on the NSS website, NSS says it is a MSPA member. It might be worth contacting MSPA. Has anyone done that?
Interesting information. On the NSS main page, Under "About Us," NSS has always had 3 sections: Our Story, Our Community, and Meet Our Team. The "Meet Our Team" page has been removed.
edited to add 2nd paragraph. I thought it was interesting.
Trump 2020!! Okay, I know we are not supposed to turn this political and I won't ....but I had to add my 2 cents again.@bgriffin wrote:

Lisa a Trump supporter?
That's freaking hilarious. Bernie wasn't left wing enough for her.
I think this well says they are changing things now quickly.... and darn well know they owe us money! They are likely reading this forum...TOO LATE! We are going to try and get our money from you...@di3882 wrote:

Good idea.
I couldn't find an email address for him or for the law firm. Maybe someone else will have better luck.
Or maybe a certified snail mail letter might be better.
It would be easier to include substantiating info and you would know for sure that it had been received.
