you say i was being unprofessional, but they're the ones who knowingly kept the wrong address in their database. that's professional? i don't see how that isn't a lot worse than me calling them up, and asking for an additional $20(it's 2017, that's a pizza) for making me drive an extra hour and a half. i do like reading people's opinions, anyway, so thanks for giving yours.
Well, okay then. Did you do the shop?
I don't think I would have.
Since you did call and informed them of the wrong address and then asked for a bonus - subsequently denied. If it was that costly to you, would not the more prudent thing to do is ask that it be removed from your assignment list? I've done that before without nary a problem.
IMO, and, I suppose it is hindsight, yet, a learning experience, I would not even have called them about a wrong address and asked for a bonus. I would not have performed the shop. I've done that in the past. I've taken a photo of the cross streets or something as instructed to back up the claim of the incorrect address. Then filed the report as the station was not at the address given.
Bottomline, IMO, if you have a problem working with this MSC, then don't. I have certain MSCs that I've felt have shortchanged me, asked for too much for too little or have just been mistreated (IMO) by them. I don't work with them (even though they Email, text me, and call asking for me to perform their shops).
I happen to like this MSC and appreciate the tools they give the shopper to make the job easier.
That's just my opinion though. No criticism of your methods.
