Red Quanta

I am waiting on payment today from shops performed in November, December, and January. I was paid for a shop in October, which is why I continued to do work for them in good faith. Fingers crossed payment comes through. I have been told many different dates for payment, 3/15 is the most recent. Just e-mailed again. Anyone receive payment this month?

Surprise, surprise. Today, 3/15, came and went with NO PAYMENT. Back to the incessant calls and multiple daily emails.... maybe we can collectively hire some princely Nigerian telemarketers to harass them for us...
You can deduct the money you spent as a business loss. You can no deduct the fees that you were not paid. The logic for the latter is that if you could deduct fees you didn't collection then it would be logical to try to deduct all the fees for assignments we didn't get. Deducting expenses, yes, Fee, no.,

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if a shopper doesn't get paid for these, then it can be written off taxes-wise as a business loss, right?

Shopping Southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware above the canal, and South Jersey since 2008
They prefer concrete dates:

"Thank you for writing to us.

Apologies for the Delay in payments. Payment for 6 shops you did in November will be processed from our end by 1st week of April'19.

Pertaining to the Dec and Jan payments while I have guidance on tentative timelines but I would rather give a concrete date to you, so please allow me a week to get back on this.

Thanks and look forward to your continued and long term engagement with RedQuanta."
FIVE MONTHS to get paid. Seriously... how are these people still in business? I also got the "give me a week to get back to you" line earlier today.

When I first saw these assignments, I was miffed because none were close to me. Now I am glad.

I sincerely hope each and every one of you gets paid.
Red Quanta recenlty updated their website removing their DC address... but still keeps the MSPA logo in the footer. Also, there's no U.S. telephone number to call anymore...
they paid me out for November this morning. I will give them another week to make more payments before I threaten them with lawsuits again. I think carrianne might just be biting the bullet and paying these though. because unlike red quanta who can hide out in India. Carrianne I can come for directly.
Five months... November shops are paid in April, so December 2018 shops will be paid in... May 2019? Oy vey...

I got this today:

"Please accept my apologies for the delay in your payments.

We faced some regulatory issues with Federal system which prevented us from paying on time.

That issue has been partially resolved and your payment of $(redacted) for the shops done in Nov'18 will be credited by 31st Mar'19.

Thank you for your immense patience and support. We won't let you down again.

Do NOT sign up with RedQuanta. I belong to a select few who did worked with Door Dash to deliver food to my home through the company known as RedQuanta. RedQuanta has BEEN REMOVED under MSPA because they did not pay in a timely manner. Some of the people who signed up are owed over $500 and have not been paid by RedQuanta. Some of these mystery shops are from almost a year ago. So, everyone do yourself a favor and DO NOT shop RedQuanta.
@JimmyP all I'm hearing is people getting paid for November shops. Have you heard of anyone getting paid for shops after that month? My November payment came in January, then nothing since then. My contacts keep dropping off the face of the earth..
"We faced some regulatory issues with Federal system..."
uhhhhh.... what????

Anyway, good luck all with these scammers.
THEY DO NOT REIMBURSE..DO NOT WORK WITH THEM. I completed over $400 worth of shops for them (before I saw these warnings). They send a text stating "your payments will be made within 30 days." Then emails stated, "payments will be made in 60 days". Then when asked, the representatives state they are working to find out when I will be paid.
The recruiters promised a fast payment also, however, they have nothing to do with payments.
The 1-800 number is never answered. When it was answered (when they were asking me to do more shops), they stated they were trying to find a payment date (call was 3 months ago).
Carrie, Abner, and Shubhangi Agarwal are all saying they do not know when payments can be made.
This is sad, now I'm behind on my bills because I fronted the funds. Please do not work with them.

This is somewhat your own fault. Never take a shop, that you couldn't afford to eat the cost of.

Come on girl, your smarter than that.
hi- We are on here to support each other. I came on here to warn others, not to be shamed. I have fronted this same amount for other companies who do google shops and was paid within 2 weeks, others 30 days.
My heart goes to all of the other shoppers who paid more than I did and are also on here. If anyone finds a solution, feel free to share.
Ive contacted Asia's consumer affairs office, in hopes they can step in. Trying every angle here. =)

What do you mean? Who is carrianne? Another name for Carrie? She was paid a fee by Red Quanta to schedule the shops, including your reimbursement. What has not been paid to shoppers, it goes into her bank account; something like that...I had a very smiliar issue with Carrie (different company) who is notorious for scamming shoppers. I would never do any shops or work with company who has anything to do with her.

Btw be nice to msJacksonville. It hapens to all of us. You don’t seem to be up to date either so be nice

So ironic. You're commenting on how smart she is, yet you are not familiar with how to use you're/your.
@msjacksonville when was the last time you got an email or call from Abner? He doesn't answer my calls anymore and the only contact I've had from Carrie is the initial November payment in January. Shubhangi Agarwal is the only one who apparently responds to anything I send her way.
Tom Brady, your reply is mean and thoughtless.

I'm struggling to make ends meet on social security.

I cannot afford to eat the cost of a single shop.

And yet I continue to shop.

Just like people go to work every day -- and sometimes they show up to find the doors barred and the business gone, with no warning, no final paycheck, nothing.

Don't be heartless, man. The only reason Red Quanta doesn't owe me is because they didn't have any of these shops in my area! I would have signed up for them in a New York second!!!! And I've been doing this for 10 years, and seen companies fail without warning. The first sign was ALWAYS late payments to shoppers....then bouncing payments....then no payments at all.

I Feel for mrsjacksonville from a cash flow stand point, because we have all been in tough financial spots.

However I stand by my original statement, if you cant afford to eat the cost of a shop, dont do it.

Remember when NSS went out of business, I lost $500 off that. What happens if you take a fine dining shop or a hotel shop and it gets rejected. What are you going to do then?

Someone gave advice on this board a long time ago about always being prepared to eat the cost of a shop, and it is great advice.

Oh, yes, I see. I am ALWAYS prepared to eat the cost -- in the sense that it's always in the back of my mind. I have had a few shops rejected (why are they ALWAYS the ones 400 miles away, where you just cannot AFFORD to hop over and take that missed photo, LOL!!!), but in those cases, it's always on long, remunerative routes with MANY companies involved., but it always hurts.

There's a HUGE difference between being prepared to eat the cost of a shop, and eating the cost of an entire month's work for a company. I don't believe more than a few of us are prepared for that kind of loss.
Does anyone have a Google contact for Red Quanta food delivery and pickup shops? Our Gmail linked orders are associated with Google. How can they allow India to continue business when Shoppers haven't been paid for 4 months? I sure hope restaurants are paid, or I will be highly embarrassed. They owe me $800.
