Actually, taking legal action is not that difficult. Would be no need to hire a lawyer, an individual can do it themselves. Simple act. Probably the hardest part would be serving them, but wouldn't be that difficult. If most shops are done in your state of residency you can go to small claims court in your state after you have issued a demand letter. Yes, you want to wait at least 30 days before sending a demand letter. Then you have to allow time for them to respond, generally ten days. No response, file your cause in small claims court, they get served and should you win the judgement you could actually then send it to their clients who would have to withhold the money before issuing any payment to them. How do I know, done it before. Normally, resolved once served, but is timely. That being said, don't think anyone will have to take legal action. It appears they are making an attempt to get money due out to shoppers. I won't be doing anymore shops for them till June shopper payment is made and even then I will monitor their actions before attempting to do another shop for them.
