Marketforce payment

The only problem that I have had with MF is that sometimes I didn't answer an email from them in a timely manner and they suspended me. I got that cleared up. But it almost made me quit because of it. This was back when they paid really good. The last time was because they said that I had canceled too many shops.

Actually the MFI Payment Overview under Payment Details says "All compensation will be paid either via direct deposit to an account you have specified, or by a check that will be mailed "no later than" the 20th of each calendar month".
They are really screwing the pooch on this.I think that I read that they have 110,000 shops a month. That's a lot of fixing to do.
I've been emailing them frequently. You know you can also google MarketForce Executive Emails and send emails to their corporate office. I did. I am not doing anymore shops for them until I get my check for May Shops. They did own up in an email to me that they messed up, owed me an apology and owed me money. You can bet I am keeping that email as evidence. I would say keep emailing them - if they think we are fine with the status quo of how it is right now with us not getting paid, then there is no hurry on their side to correct the issue. If we want to see some action on their side this week then they need to hear collectively from everyone how not getting paid is impacting our ability to pay bills and take care of our families...so tell your story so they hear it. And hopefully we all get paid this week!
Nothing for May yet on my end and my June amount is very understated - shows $194 and I did over $500 in shops so far in June
Well, they have this week to fix it before the lawyer gets involved, demand letter, judgement, judgement goes to their clients for payment who withhold any compensation going to them.

All of my completed May shops have dropped off my board. It is so disheartening. On the other hand, not a peep from The Philippines. Not one call in 3 days. Friday I was inundated with 6 calls.

I received a direct deposit for a partial amount. I cancelled my remaining shops for the month, and let them know why.

I did about 5 shops last month and got only 1 partial payment (DD) that has NOT even appeared. The direct deposit was only for $12! I did $100+ worth of shops. Damn, now I have to cancel ALL my remaining shops for next month until they pay me the $100 dollars they owe me. WTH. I am fuming. If they are having money problems, it is definitely time for me to move ON. Glad I have this forum to know that I this is not just a one off issue.

Good thing I keep all the autogenerated emails and receipts (since shops "disappear" from their system).

Darn, know what the problem is after rereading their emails. The management team is still investigating the problem.

I would love to know why they said “some of you” will begin seeing your payments as soon as Tuesday.
SOME OF YOU!

That is not there when i log into my account.
It's posted as Update - Shopper Payments, and dated today. Just logged back in and it's there, not sure why you don't see it.
I just received a reply from Simone to yesterday's email. In it, she stated June shops have not been paid, contrary to the website.

Um, don't they know that the money is in my account for two June shops. Yes, only 2, but still they were paid and were June shops. Following that statement was the same updated generic reply that is posted on their site.

I got a deposit for a few June shops that were completed in the first week of June. I made sure to print out the payment history report for 2018 and 2019 for my files. Keeping all emails as well. In case anyone does not know you could file complaints with the Better Business Bureau and your states Labor Board for non-payment of wages. For those in Colorado they have an office in Boulder as well. And I'm sure there is an attorney out there somewhere who would take on a case like this when a company is withholding wages from the entire mystery shopping workforce.
I am in panic mode now. Rent is due in 6 days and I don’t have enough money. MF provides 40-50% of my income. I have to pay $50 a day if rent is late. I am taking a break from MF for a few months. I don’t think I can do a good job on their shops with such anger in my heart. Actively looking for new MSCs now.

We are independent contractors. We do not get wages. State Labor Boards will not do anything about this.
Email I just received from MF at 9:11 am eastern time on June 25th - they have no ETA on paychecks. I'd say it's time to start filing grievances with the BBB and state labor boards. Below is what they sent me:

I can certainly understand the position you are in! Truly! I wish we could say TODAY or TOMORROW! That would be fantastic to be able to tell our shoppers. However, that may not be the truth. We simply do not have an exact date. Our management team has been investigating what went wrong and all of MFI is working as hard as possible to get this done as shopper payments are paramount!!! Help Desk is having a meeting in a little less than an hour and hope to have the best news possible for our shoppers. We really are trying to get this done, but Help Desk can only receive the word and pass it along.

My $176 for the shops I did from 6/1-6/4 was in my checking account this morning, but still no May pay.
I feel so awful for the people that really need this money for rent, to eat etc. I am lucky that my husband and I have a full time jobs that pay all our bills and mainly just use MS money for vacations and savings so I don’t really need it but I so feel for people that do! Just last summer I was in your shoes because my husband was injured at work and off for 3 months suddenly and it took 3 months for the workers comp payments to start and we absolutely needed my MS money to survive! Luckily there weren’t any payment issues during that time from the MS companies but if there were it would have been awful. I hope they resolve this ASAP.
I too feel bad for those of you who were counting on that money. I barely shop for them and only have 2 outstanding shops for less than $12 in fees. I'm mad about the lousy reimbursements so I can't even imagine how upset you guys are. For what it's worth I am sure they are giving it all they have to fix the issues. Without shoppers trust they have nothing.

They pretty much have nothing then cause they sure don't have shoppers trust.
MF could buy A LOT of goodwill by just being upfront about what is going on. If it is a software issue, a data dump, etc. just say that. This vague "issue is being investigated" is just stoking the fires.
Before sharing my opinion, I was fired by Market Force in 2010. No reason was ever given nor was any required.

In my 16+ years in this business, every MSC I recall that folded did so after experiencing non-payment to contractors. The story was always the same: Disbursement problems they were working on solving. Could this be an exception? It certainly could and hopefully will.
I'm not sure which issue I feel the strongest about. The fact that MF is being shady about whatever this issue is, or the fact that there are active shoppers who don't know that we are "independent contractors" and think that the Labor Department can do anything about this. Both are concerning.

*Edited to help this comment make sense. Apparently my frustrations are causing a lack of focus too!

Anyone heard anything that came out of the meeting that the help desk was supposed to have?
