Does anyone expect HS Brands to pay up (and on time?)

Last winter HS Brands got horribly behind on payments. It took almost four months for me to get paid. They are the only company that hasn't paid me for February jobs. What do you think the likelihood is that the company will pay up?

I also have jobs from February that have not be paid. However according to their stated payment policy,
payment is supposed to be mid May. I knew this when I accepted the jobs. I can’t get too excited over this unless they don’t pay me in May.

Rather than making it a priority to speed up this process, the HS Brands CEO is lounging around at home and encouraging shoppers to do grocery runs to make a few extra bucks: [www.mysteryshopforum.com].
I have completed 231 shops for Service Sleuth over a 15 years period, with all that I recall having been paid as agreed. There are three for which I am currently awaiting payment, none, though, are past due. I have not a sliver of concern as to if I will receive my money.

For all shoppers finding this, or any MSC unacceptable in their business practices, avoid aggravation by working with other companies. You will be doing both yourself AND the company a favor by moving on with life. As for me, SS has always been upfront and the work:pay ratio for the jobs I accept is favorable.

Rather than end my post with the above paragraph, I decided to share the details of the three shops I have in the hopper. A superb $25 dinner, no guest requirement, a $15 fee, no specific foods and a 10 day window. That works for me!
Yes to bob's post. I don't do a lot of shops for them, but I've worked for them since 2010. Their payment terms are slower than those of most MSCs, but I accept the shops knowing when they will pay, and they always have. I am waiting on reimbursement and small fee for a burger lunch that I enjoyed, and I expect to be paid in May.
MSF, do you really think you're going to stoke outrage by accusing someone of "lounging around at home" right now? Like others, I did some shops in Feb and March that are not overdue yet by the terms I agreed to. I would neither request nor expect that they be paid early.
Per that post from Lorri regarding Tom Mills:

"I want to make sure everyone is clear on the motivation here…neither HSB, nor SASSIE nor KSS Int’l will make any money from this."
@NinS, you and some others maintain unwaivering support for this company and its CEO, and that's fine. As is apparent from this post, others have doubts, and don't find acceptable the 90+ day payment terms that are not spelled out in the ICA or elsewhere. We can agree to disagree about HSB, but to conclude that I am attempting to "stoke outrage" is overreaching.

@kenasch, yes they are, and the terms do not state that shoppers will be paid after 90+ days. It's your (and everyone else's who desires) prerogative to embrace and defend this MSC 'til the cows come home. The fact is that even the CEO stated that they have not been upholding their payment terms, and this certainly is not the first thread in which shoppers have expressed their concern, frustration, and disapproval.

If Tom is lounging around right now, I'm going to ask him to send me Venmo.

Really, I'm guessing that his stress level is off the charts. He runs one of the biggest MSC's in the world, and the business (and world economy) just came to a screeching halt. He only owes me $36. I can take it or leave it. I'm not sending an email for $36.
The way he has been running that MSC for at least the past year is inexcusable. He did not communicate with shoppers about payment issues--not by e-mail, not on here, not anywhere. It was only in a recent message he had Lorri Kern post on here about his e-mail promoting something else that he acknowledged that failure. If Tom can e-mail his entire shopper base to promote another business, he could have certainly been timely and frank with shoppers about payment issues. "He" may only owe you a few dollars, but some shoppers are owed three and four figure amounts, some or all of which are out-of-pocket expenditures.

Everyone can have an opinion. Now, we know yours, and we all know mine.
In the same boat here, their response was Feb. shops will be paid by the end of May or sooner, March shops by end of June or sooner.

Well, that's something...although their own posting says that they pay March 30 for January shops....!
This is a quote from their login page. "Payments are submitted to PayPal or direct deposit approximately 75 days after the last day of the month in which the project was completed."

Therefore I should payment for my March shops about June15.

Paying early is acceptable, but for any of us to expect our customers to pay us so is not at all reasonable. I am always amazed when someone asks about payments not yet due. Yet, time and time again there are such questions.
The OP expressed trepidation about whether the MSC would pay at all, and on time. Seems reasonable to wonder if a company that has been late with payments for the past several months would be delinquent this time. I don't see where anyone expressed the expectation that the MSC pay early.

Can you tell me who to email? I am due for January and a February shop and have not heard back from the scheduler? Is there a better contact besides KSS?
Try Tom Mills: tom.mills@hsbrands.com

I seriously doubt that Tom is answering shopper emails for payment.

Thank you so much, I appreciate your help.

January shops should have been paid on April 15th
February shops should be paid on May 15th.
I was paid for all my Feb shops today, about a week ahead of the May 15 payment date I agreed to when I took the shop.
