New Applebee's Shops

Some thing they are not allowed to substitute, and others require a charge. For instance, with my riblet basket, instead of fries I get the green beans. They gave me the fries on the side and no green beans, and they charged me for the green beans. Thankfully, I can smell a fry from 30 paces. They made it right before I left.

I don't think it was an upcharge. I did a sample order on the website, which i would feel should reflect the phone price as well.

Does anyone know when the next round starts?

I also did a shop last week and the process was absolutely SEAMLESS. It was quite impressive and sounded slightly robotic, if you ask me. My report was easy to write and it probably was reviewed multiple times because the experience was so positive...
macro, I love it when employees meet all of the metrics!

I got the 2 for $22 last week. I got the sirloin steak and could cut it with the plastic knife. It was delicious and so was the Lemon Cedar Chicken.
I love the Lemon Chicken! My other two are the boneless wings and the riblet basket with green beans instead of fries. YUM!

I love the Lemon Chicken too, and the Wonton Tacos. I tried the sirloin since it was part of the two for $20. Tough meat - hard as a rock. Next time - ribs.
I'm very finicky about take out steaks. If they are rubber, I'm likely not to return it. Their ribs are awesome. I have not tasted the Won Ton Tacos, but several shoppers here have highly recommended them.

Compared to TGI Friday's ribs, I prefer TGI over Applebees. Seems like TGI are more fall off the bone and tender. The Applebees ones were slightly dry / almost crispy...
The ribs I received were old and reminded me of the pre-cooked grocery store ribs in the Deli Dept.
It's light, flavorful and delicious! I get that with every 2 for $20.

Yuk! That would turn me off of ribs.

I won't ask why you were eating precooked grocery store ribs from the Deli Dept.

How does TGIF compare to Texas Roadhouse? Their Killer Ribs literally fall off the bone!

I prefer TGI Ribs, probably due to the sauce - they are not always fall off the bone .

The Texas RH ribs are good too. Probably because of the tender meat, but I don't enjoy their sauce.
The three cheese pasta is good also. I always get the fiesta lime chicken and the boneless wings but like to vary the other entree.
The location near home has the Fiesta Lime Chicken on the 2 for $20 instead of the Lemon Chicken. One day, I will have to try the pasta!

The Lemon Chicken and Fiesta Lime are both on my 2/22 menu. The lemon chicken is the most healthy choice and has fewer calories but I just love all that cheese melted on the fiesta lime. The pasta was good but heavy on the cals. I split it as a side dish with 2 other people.
None on my board yet.

Just got an email of a shop in Newburgh with a bonus. I had to do a lot of searching to figure out this was in NY. The email only gave the city and store number which looked like a zip in California.
I hate that. Don't send me shop notices for Puerto Rico when you know I live in DC.

They were finally posted in my area, but the dates don't work for me. Have fun everyone!

I got one for August - barely. They all went so fast. That's the fastest I've seen them go.
I know better than to ask who does them, but could someone just tell me this: Do they send emails when the shops become available? I'm signed up with nearly 100 companies, more than I can check daily, and maybe I've hit the right MSC and I don't know it. Thanks.
I'm signed up with the company that does these, but there are never any near here. sad smiley

I learn something new every day, but not everyday!
I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.
