I checked the job board and nothing. About an hour later, I received an email for the self assign shops. They were listed through the email link but not on the job board.

Yes, mine also. Listed on the email link but NOT on the job board. They waste my time at that point because it's obvious that it's already been assigned. I won't fall for it again.
Do the Schedulers sent it out first to their good, proven shoppers, or do they send it out to everyone at the same time?
Well, I consider myself to be a good, proven shopper. However, schedulers who work for different companies would send, or even assign, shops to shoppers who complete shops for many or all companies they work for! So, if I take a crappy $7 gas station assignment or $7 Netspend assignment, I would be assigned these first as well. That does not make me a bad, not proven shopper. It makes the schedulers biased, unfairly.
Not that this is the case with these shops. Also, the Applebee's bar shops have been loaded into iSecret shop app.
Yeah, I don't see any favoritism here except they were primarily self-assign and they were hidden from open job board for a bit (only on email link). They have a decent rotation, but they are very popular as noted.
Wow, what a great company. Someone from the MSC reached out and I was able to schedule one of these shops finally. So is the 2 for 22 the best deal to order? This is a curbside with any entree and a $20 reimbursement.
In my experience, the two for 22 was the best. It’s a lot of food for the money.
Here, it was 2 for $20. With the tip, I came in under reimbursement. It's a lot of food.

Three of the stores have closed in my neck of the woods.
I checked the job board by accident today. Someone flaked and I picked up a shop close to home. I got it for tomorrow after work.
I'm doing the boneless wings, riblet basket (with green beans) and the shrimp stir fry (with half the rice). My next shop is Saturday at Mod Pizza. No grocery shopping this week!

kimmie, I lucked out. I intended to go to a MSC site with a similar name. I ended up there.

They are back! What are you getting? I will be doing the next round, since the dates and times aren't good for me.

I saw them. Unfortunately, this round is M-F and my schedule at work may be changing so I don't want to get one and then cancel. I am hoping I can find out my work hours soon!

I checked after posting here to see what was available. One of my locations appeared with a time and date that worked. I'm doing the shop at the end of the cycle.

I did my shop tonight. Other than not having carside service, it was flawless. With the tip, I was at reimbursement. I love it when shops go well!

This time, I got the boneless wings, the riblet basket with green beans instead of fries, and the fiesta lime chicken. That will last me until Saturday.

Honny...I got the riblets last time also. They were good and had an adequate amount of sauce on them. I hate it when I order ribs someplace and they come with minimal sauce.

I am very finicky about my bbq sauces. If it's an option, I opt for the dry rub. A bad sauce can ruin a good rib.

I just did a shop last night. Ordered the boneless wings with asian chili sauce and the chicken stir fry. Okay, here's my beef. Never try to fool someone of chinese ethnicity of how stirred fried food should taste like. The broccoli in the stir fried tasted like it was steamed first because it had a certain softness to it and then it was seasoned with butter. Yuck.
catg, I know what you mean. I make Chinese stir frys at home from scratch. The veggies should be crisp.

All the Applebee shops are gone for June in my area. Just the job application ones which does not interest me. The food shop are much better than those $15 QSR Drive Thru (SeeLevel) or ACL pizza shops with a thousand and one things to time and observe, all for $20 total reimb/fee. What ever happened to inflation and cost of living increase, not to mention higher gasoline and car costs? Minimum wage is at least $12 or 13 here.
