Tonight was a bit eclectic. I did ham slices, sauerkraut, potato pancakes, stuffed mushrooms and pumpkin pie.

mmmm.really takes me back.....my Dad used to make the best potato pancakes in the world. I liked them fine just plain but he also served them with applesauce on top.
Making Garlic Parsley Fettucine for the next couple nights along with salad
and LaBrea French bread.

I made a big pot of homemade turkey vegetable soup with noodles, tossed salads and corn bread. For dessert I threw together some eclairs and oatmeal raisin cookies.

Chicken parm, and the side salad was leftovers made into an arugula salad with beets and blue cheese crumbles. Dessert was Kahlua and coffee.
That's my kinda dessertsmiling smiley

ground beef, canned veggies (green beans, beans, diced tomatoes) fresh cut potatoes, walmart french bread, crackers.. and milk...

i do believe that is the healthiest dinner i have had in a loong while...

Tacos and guacamole, with black beans and rice. I made the taco shells myself. Dessert, I made yesterday, a marble cake with dark chocolate frosting.

Blackened cod, a steamed, seasoned medley of sugar snaps, red peppers and yukon golds, and a toasted baguette with garlic butter.
Found a place this week that makes magnificent seeded rye bread. Tonight was grilled ham & cheese sandwiches on rye. Getting the ham bone pared down pretty well so soon enough a nice pot of beans.
Ham steak, baked Idaho potato, acorn squash. Ideal winter meal.

I wanted meatloaf. Asked hubby to thaw 2 pounds of ground beef, planning to fix it myself, after work. He did. He made a one pound meatloaf, and asked what the other pound was for.

It was a flat meatloaf.

I fixed roasted root veggies to go with.
Made my gf her roommates and i stirfry (broccoli carrots peppers and soy sauce) chicken breasts steamed with onion pepper and salt.. pasta... and tried to make sweet and sour meatballs but it was more ground meat with sweet and sour sauce... i forgot i was cooking for ladies and made to much... more for me...

And no ranch was not available...sad smiley
