I will be ripped off for almost $300 if I do not get paid. Did shops in March, April, May.

Only one shop (all clients) showing up in my area now. I am hoping the two bonused pizza shops I have outstanding get paid (1 April, 1 May) but if not, not a huge loss. $20 pay, $17 reimbursements. Not enough to fight over. I do feel bad for the other shoppers that may have more invested. Crossing my fingers that NSS gets this worked out. They have always been a good company in my eyes.

I hope you all get paid and are not doing more shops for them now, no matter what they are offering, unless you like gambling.
I tried to call this morning and the recording said no one was available to take the call. I did not leave a message but did shoot off an email to my favorite scheduler, Lacy. Based on what I'm reading above I may be out several hundred dollars between the bonuses and reimbursements as I have not been paid for March or April shops. The reason some of you are still seeing other types of shops and getting paid for them might be because NSS has the accounts set up for different clients. So the money from Client X goes into one pot and pay for those shops come out of that account while the money for the PJ client goes into another account and the PJ shops get paid from that account. I am sad and disappointed by this state of affairs as I really liked doing the pizza shops and loved my scheduler as she was always quick to respond to me.
I too got that phone message and called twice. It does not look good. I looked at my open/backup jobs list and there are none in my area. I put in a zip code in Boston area and there were three jobs (all pizza) still open for May that allowed auto sign up. Since I do not live there i did not sign up to see what would have happened. There was no scheduler listed and the only contact was the same one I see which leads to no one. I am keeping my fingers crossed that this is an anomaly and by June 1st there will be some jobs and a few paychecks too.
Anne - I was getting 20 for carry outs and 15 for delivery. And I did anywhere from 8 to 11 shops a month. Made my car payments so I am sorely disappointed that they may be going away. I just hope they pay me for the March and April shops!!

Looked into small claims court in California. No proxy options available so the trip would cost more than I'm owed but not cool. Julian told me I'd be paid. When I asked point blank about the PIzza shops, he told me he couldn't discuss that with me. This was about 10 days ago. Now no one answers. At least my inbox is free of the same email from multiple schedulers apologizing for the number of emails they are sending!!

There are 2 schedulers that used to contact me every few days. I have not received a phone call or email in 3 weeks asking for help. Only 1 shop is listed in my area and several weeks past due.
Yeah, I was getting $20 for my 3 delivery shops and $20 to $30 for carryout. In past years I received far more than that for carryouts, sometimes as much as $40. I only did my delivery shops the past couple of months. I still have faith that they will pay everybody. Keeping fingers crossed.

I averaged around $13-14/ pizza shop. Some bonuses were $25 or $20. Others were $8 or $10. ...and every number in between.
Very random.
I personally don't like the pizza enough, nor feel the survey/pictures are easy enough to do it for a $3 fee + reimbursement. I would probably think $7 would be my minimum required. Any travel out of my comfort zone would bump that figure up.
I see food shops for reimbursement only at various companies and almost never take them. Texas Roadhouse and a seafood shop were my only exceptions, b/c of the high quality of the food.

Yeah, my neighbors were the recipients of the pizza. The Texas Roadhouse locations in my area are mediocre and I wait for them to get bonused, too. Someone else around here usually picks them up at reimbursement, though.

not yet. starting to worry a little. the combination of the following worry me:
1.) NSS bounced checks from a few months ago (there was an older thread about it).
2.) Recent uptick in pizza shops at a competitor at the same time NSS seems to have much fewer shops.
3.) People reporting no March payments in yet.
4.) People here saying they're unable to contact anyone at NSS.
On the upside, lots of people also say NSS has been around a long time and is a reputable company. Maybe they're going through a temporary rough patch. If I'm not mistaken, March payments (I use PayPal) should have been disbursed last week.
I'll report when I get my March payments.

RE payment by vendor/client. My March shops included two of their clients...pizza and the bbq shop. I have not gotten paid for either.
I googled the company and the thing that came up said they had 7 employees. I guess that is possible. I have probably spoken to at least 7 diff people there so maybe I spoke with all of them. And maybe some of the staff are "contractors" like we are so they do not count as employees. I am hoping they are searching for new business and will call everyone back to work soon.

When shoppers are late with report submissions or make an error, we can end up having a shop rejected.
When mystery shopping companies are late with payments and shoppers have bills to pay, what recourse does the shopper have?

I see an April check issued for my March shops but I have not received it yet. I also don't see any new shops posted this month.

Interesting...perhaps we will get paid after all if someone decent bought them.
I am owed for two restaurants $60.00..just called, no answer...would be nice if told something about what's happening. does this mean new company pays back bills.
