I've been paid on time for the assignments I did via Merc and I look forward to doing them through Presto/Confidential Consumer (which is paying a lower reimbursement but a $5 fee per shop).

You shouldn't need a new GMAIL address for each company you're working for, but if you're getting your shops off the Presto map (http://prestomap.com) and you run into any problems, please let our support folks know (Help under the menu on the Presto map) and we'll help you get it sorted out ASAP.
Remember that with the Presto map, you don't have to fill out a lengthy form to claim your shops, and you get paid FAST! We pay on Monday and Thursday every week -- so you won't be waiting and hoping a month from now. We started these shops on Tuesday and just paid a bunch of shoppers this morning! You can also see the approval and payment status of your shops, just by going to My Completed Shops under the menu.

The drop in value is with the takeouts... Otherwise, you still can still reach the $25 total ($20 + $5 fee).

I just got a call from someone claiming to be from Red Quanta. They knew my name and email address but I have never signed up with them. They asked if I would help with a shop and wanted me to sign up with them over the phone. I said they could send me an email so I could get more information and I would sign up online. I am thankful for the forum to see what others experience and if a company is legit or not.

SassyShoppin, instead of doing it through Red Quanta I would strongly recommend taking the same shop through Merc, BVA or Presto (Confidential Consumer) so you'll get paid on time.
Actually, I've been getting $30 for takeout, so it's a $5 reduction on both.

I can confirm that I've been paid by presto within two days of doing the shop
I have a general question.
When a restaurant charges a delivery fee, who does that money go to? Does it go to the driver? I've read news articles stating how restaurants have been unhappy with these delivery food apps. They take up to 20% of the total order. On top of that, some are not giving the tips to restaurants. They are giving them to the drivers, who is told to give some of that to the restaurant, but many don't.
I just want to make sure that my delivery driver is being tipped. There are some articles where I've read that the restaurant takes the delivery fee to make up for the 20% fee that the app takes.
I would love some clarification on this in regards to each delivery partner and what they do with tips and the delivery fee. That would help someone like me out because I always tip the driver since the food is "free" thanks to the shops. If the delivery fee is actually going to the restaurant then I suspect that a lot of drivers are not being tipped because most people assume that the delivery fee is the tip.

That might be confidential information and speculation unless we hear from a reliable source. If this concerns you, try just tipping in cash, where you can instead of tipping with your order?

Those of you who have done this food delivery assignment for Presto Instashops...Did you do the entire thing on your phone? It's easier for me to use a computer and the directions are confusing because they say you can use a computer and that you can only use your phone! Clarification would be much appreciated

I tip the driver in cash. I tip via the delivery app as well because I want the worker at the restaurant to receive a tip. I know that they rely on tips. I'm just wondering if the tip is actually going to the driver too, which would mean that they are receiving a big tip when they come to my house.
I've been told by an acquaintance whose restaurants does business through these companies that the driver receives the tips. If delivery fee is in place then that goes to the restaurant.
This is good to know! After reading the payment horror stories from the other MSCs, I was ready to delete the new gmail address. I'm glad I kept reading.

Hello, I have recently found that the Takeout ones don't let you order for the future (the 4 hour requirement). I'd love to do some of the presto shops ....
Do you have to live exactly in that specific city or can you live in a radius around it?
I have not seen anything new on this subject, but has anyone been paid for the Red Quanta shops? I finally got my payment after calling the scheduler. She is still sending out announcements for the need of shoppers, but I am reluctant to do anymore since I just got paid last week for shops that were done in April. Not sure if there is another thread for payment updates, but just thought I would share and see if anyone else had been reimbursed.
It took almost three months for me to finally get paid by Red Quanta. Despite what has been said here, I don't think it was the scheduler's fault as much as RQ's. It would have been better if she'd said that shops weren't going to be paid for possibly 12 weeks, but I think RQ slowed way down on reimbursements after their first round.
Anyway, I wouldn't take more assignments from them.

Good to see Presto & Confidential Consumer here, I just did my first for them after completing several for MERC & BVA.
The process for presto is very frustrating. First you only have 8 hours to complete the assignment, at least 4 of those are chewed up by the order ahead requirement -- must be 4 hours or more. And many locations don't offer ordering ahead.
I'm baffled by the requirement to fill out the Google sheets survey & the survey on the presto portal, then take a screenshot of the completed Google Sheets survey. Additionally, the google sheet survey asks to upload a screenshot, but doesn't specify what to upload.
Then the form itself is a strange accordion type form that expands based on your answers. Adding time must be entered through a dial input (like an iPhone interface for entering time), much more difficult than just typing in the actual number. The form also jumped down when I was entering the order number on every key stroke.
The two aforementioned MSC's with the same or similar project had forms that were easier and allowed 24 hours to submit. It seems like this group is making the process much more difficult than is necessary.

Im owed at least 12 shop payments from red quanta, im quite upset.
Thank you @bptexan for your feedback. Some of what you mention is just part of the deal, but here are some recent changes that should help:
- The time limit for the general FOPA shops has been extended to 12 hours
- The order ahead requirement has been removed from the general FOPA shops
- There are Day-Ahead Order Ahead shops available for an additional $5 (the pins for those are PURPLE)
- RE: Google Form - this is so the end client has immediate visibility, and the screenshot is just proof to us that you did this step.
- The form is an accordion style since there are many variations based upon what you experience; otherwise, the form would be very long with many unnecessary questions.
- The time input is a fixed function - this prevents the user from entering a time like 6:79pm
- Unsure why the form jumps on every keystroke when entering the order #, but we'll look into that.
- The tight turnaround time is part of our strategy to be the preferred provider of these shops - quick turnaround to client, quick payments to shoppers, more opportunity for both!
