I'm curious if anyone has taken a Red Quanta ordering shop directly from them (via a phone call) and if they got paid. When I got the call, I told them I wasn't interested until my old assignments with them were paid, and they quickly got off the phone with me. I was told that payments would be within a week. Anyone?
No - Confidential Consumer is the only company offering these assignments on Presto.

When you look at opportunities, there is a filter where you can view SASSIE shops for a specific company, however the Presto (blue) pins always show up. The Presto pins on the map for the FOPA project are all handled by Confidential Consumer.

Good to know, Howard. Thank you for the info! Wish you had some in my area...Would much rather do yours.
Do not work for Red Quanta under any circumstances. I completed 8 mystery shops for them. All of my reports were accepted. I have waited months and still not been paid the $200 I am owed. I sent them 5 emails and called India 10 times and I still have not been paid. In my final email and phone call, I let them know that I will be filing a lawsuit next week for fraud and breach of contract. Luckily I was a lawyer for 10 years before becoming a mystery shopper. I plan to take action so that no one else has to go through what I went through.
Won't the court filing fees cost $250?

I'm also owed for many shops, dating back to April. Are there enough of us to file a class action lawsuit?
Is the Presto job still running? I've been waiting a couple days to get pre-qualified, and now I'm really hungry.
@shopsuey - Yes, the Presto shops are still running! Please send me an email with both the email you use to log into Presto as well as the gmail account you are looking to have whitelisted: howardb@confidentialconsumer.com

I finally got paid by Red Quanta after calling them 10 times in India via skype (+91 8286086700), and being hung up on a number of times, and also sending them a number of emails. Here is the language I used to get paid. I'm posting it here in case it helps anyone else in this situation:

I am writing to let you know that I will be filing a lawsuit against Red Quanta next week for fraud and breach of contract due to your non-payment of my $25 fee for the 8 shops I completed. The shops were completed months ago but I still have not been paid the $200 I am owed. I have emailed you a number of times and also called you in India yesterday and today, but I still have not been paid. I was a lawyer for 10 years before becoming a mystery shopper and have no doubt that my lawsuit will be successful. I will also be contacting a friend of mine who works for the Los Angeles Times so that they can run an article warning consumers not to sign up to work for your company. If you wish to avoid this lawsuit and the newspaper article, you can immediately send me the $200 you owe me via PayPal.

I sent it to bd@redquanta.com but did not receive a response. The person who finally emailed me was Abjihan. His signature line states that he is the Co-Founder and Chief Revenue Officer. I recommend emailing him directly. His email address is abhijan@redquanta.com

Good luck!
Is Confidential Consumer out? I signed up for 4 from Carrie Coyle but am leery about doing them now. I don't see them showing up on Presto shops any more. Got a bad feeling about it, and haven't heard back from Carrie.
Just to let you all know, I finally got paid in less than a day after threatening to sue them via email ....that somehow scared them into paying me.

I had a horrible experience with Carrie. Thanks to this forum and its members, we find out that she is a scam artist. There is a thread on the forum. I got paid 5 months later after many emails and finally catching her in lie. She lied that she did not get my emails because she didn’t work for the company anymore, and found out later that she actually does work for the company and that she created the “company” herself. It was a mess
I would definitely not start working for Red Quanta. I did a number of shops at the beginning of the year, and I've been mostly paid, but it is a chase. The only thing that makes it bearable is that I know I can write off any losses, and I've gained enough savings from this project that it would really end up a wash.

I hope I’m not screwed too. I did a lot of them back in April, May, June (scheduled by Carrie but through Red Quanta). This was before I knew about the Presto Jobs. Now I’m waiting to get paid for those old jobs.
FYI - We have re-launched the FOPA program on Presto!

This project is a hot mess. Shoppers are wondering about the pay and they keep advertising without mentioning late payments.
Scheduling through Carrie is the ultimate low, and doing shops for the MSCs that she works for. As a matter of fact, her (non) existing Private Eyes Online and Private Eyes Scheduling are on the forum’s list of legit MSCs. Crazy.
For the record we have paid all of our shoppers on time for this project - which is precisely why we opted to handle it via Presto. Brian - Confidential Consumer

Anyone taking the Red Quanta shops directly through RQ? They're coming at me pretty hard and promising reimbursement between 2-4 weeks. My brain says "no", but if they've actually fixed their system, then my stomach says "yes".
You can find our shops here, and we pay within 3 days:

Hi Shopsuey,

I have received two phone calls and three emails. I told Ajay on the phone that most likely no previous shoppers will work with them since there is a problem with getting paid. I told him there was a thread here calling their credibility into question. I got another phone call from them followed by an email from Benita Maben. In Benita's email, I fully detailed the problem. A day later, I got an email from Ajay and forwarded him the email sent to Benita. Two days later (today), I received another email from Ajay who did not address any questions about timely payments, but suggested I complete shops for them again.

BVA is also in another country, but the response is great and I have been reimbursed within a couple of days of completing the shops (every other day). Red Quanta and Carrie seem to have an issue avoiding questions and obligations. Although you might be familiar with Red Quanta's process and might be tempted to be pulled back in (as I was), BVA is great since Merc does not seem to be doing these anymore. FYI although I have shopped with Merc for years, I only started BVA to continue where Red Quanta erred. I hope this helps.
@carmenc970, yes, if I take anything from RQ, I'll only have myself to blame when it goes south again. BVA is no longer working in my area, which makes me VERY sad. @howardb and Confidential Consumer are still here, but four assignments a month is quite limiting. What's a shopper to do?
I got paid for all Red Quanta Shops I completed, but it took over four months and many, many emails and delays. I did four of the Presto shops when in another city and they were super easy and paid within the week. Based on my experience, pass on Red Quanta and run towards the Presto shops.
Add me to the list of people who is still waiting to get paid. Red Quanta owes me close to $300. It could be a paypal issue though, I am also working with PP customer service.
I got an email solicitation from Carrie (Private Eyes) about these shops today. Based on what I have read about her and Red Quanta on the forum, I'll pass.
I just received an email asking me to open a Gmail account and register with them, they had a list of shops (none in my town), but seemed suspicious to me, so deleted following my insticts.
