Red Quanta

I wonder how many shoppers are out there who have not been persistent and did not spend months emailing and asking for payment....it angers me because this scheduler, Carrie, ignored and lied to me until I finally got paid five months after completing the shop. My time, efforts and troubles do not equal to the pay. I hope this woman can be stopped.

I have been shopping for Redquantra for a year and have never had a problem with payments until now. I have shops since August that I am awaiting payment and now through November, I am owed $347. I have contacted them several times and if I did get a reply it was more or less they are looking into it and that's it. Very frustrating.
Not sure if anyone got a request for referrals from Red Quanta, but I got an auto reply similar bva's format after responding:

Hi,

Not only did I have to chase you down for my reimbursement for months, but there are still several shoppers angry about the lack of response regarding payment and just overall communication. So for $2, $5 or $10, you want me to recommend up to three newbies who can harass me for their money over several months when they don't hear from you? Anyone I refer to you would not be considered a friend. If you responded to your current shoppers timely and reimbursement schedule was accurate, somehow I don't think your company would need this solicitation.

Thank you,

I recently received a Facebook message from someone claiming to be a scheduler for Red Quanta. He asked me to apply with them to conduct restaurant shops. I've never heard of this company, and I find it odd that he found me on Facebook. I don't advertise that I'm a mystery shopper on my page. However, I did comment on a post by SQM recently that he may have seen. Do any of you have experience with this company?

I, like many it seems, have had a terrible experience with Red Quanta.

I signed up for delivery shops, but the schedulers were hard to understand, overscheduled me (gave me 8 shops when I wanted to accept one to try it out), and constantly harrassed me with calls and emails.

I completed 4 of the 8 shops and then I said I was done. They wanted all 8 delivery shops done in 3 days and although I shop every day, I coudn't stand it after a while...having to toggle between different email addresses to not only complete the delivery but to log into their portal.

I finally got paid for the 4 shops 4 months after I finished and the paypal fee was deducted from my earnings.

Hard pass on Red Quanta from me.
iT APPEARS THE PAYMENT IS SHOWING 90 SO IT'S 3 MONTHS TO GET PAID AND SO FAR it doesn't look like they can be trusted!!!!!!
They sent me a text this week. They are MSPA "certified" or "registered" or some other BS. I blocked the number.
I've already told them via email that I would never shop for them.
What a crappy company.

I replied that I prefer to get paid for my work, then blocked them also. The nerve.
I guess I am lucky. None of the urls work for scheduling food shops. So with everyones complaints as warnings I am deleting my account from them. Thanks for what you all have posted.
I gave contacted MSPA about them and if you all do the same maybe they will straughten out.

Carrie has no business taking our info from other databases. That is foul. I get it you are trying to start over, but start over right.
I'm currently owed just under $400 for shops. They contacted me frequently for four weeks to do shops and loaded me up with four per week. Now that is time to be paid they are "radio silent". I just keep getting "excuse" emails asking for my updated pay pal info. It looks like their tactic is to use you for as long as they can, then seek new recruiters to carry on. It may be wise to report them to Better Business & perhaps even the client. This kind of unethical treatment of shoppers needs to stop.

That's what happened to me. And they still have the nerve to keep me on their list to "offer" more of these shops. The best we can do is keep writing Red Quanta is a scam, Private Eyes Online Mystery Shopping lies to you and doesn't pay. Red Quanta will not pay you. F#$% up their google results so that those are the most common phrases that show up attached to their names.
UPDATE: After working with one of their reps, the $ got corrected. And, for the 4 shops I performed around the 16th of October, I was paid on 12/4. So, I (hopefully) expect that the 4 shops I did at the end of October will be reimbursed around the end of this month. So far I've been paid within the timeline they indicated (8 weeks). We'll see how it ends.
While I would absolutely not recommend anyone do these assignments with Red Quanta, I haven't heard of anyone not getting their money at all. It can take months of chasing, but everyone's gotten paid, right?

Months or chasing is its own cost so they are getting more out of the money and we are getting less.

I would say few of those who kept at emailing and calling, and who came to the forum for an advice, they got paid in untimely manner. Those who kept waiting for the payment or forgot, will never get paid. This is what I think...
After sending them several emails regarding payments, they have improved, however, it takes them minimally 60 days for payment. Once you start emailing them about payment, make sure they respond and then payments will come without reminding them.
Horrible company. They keep begging for shoppers but don't pay for the backlog of owed money. RUN from this company!
The MSC using Presto is no longer doing it. I found out when I sent my info to them via email.

I keep getting emails from Red Quanta to sign up for the program. On a whim, I inquired about the payment issues.

Carrie S responded saying:

I most definitely does not take 4 months to get paid. That has never been the case. There have been issues with a handful of shoppers that did not provide their PayPal info that may have resulted in a delay in their payment, but that is the only time any payment has been delayed.

So apparently, all of you shoppers complaining about the payment issues did not provide the correct PayPal information.

Really?!

I had done 8 shops for Red Quanta back in October, and did finally get paid in mid December, without having to call or email about it. Now that I got paid, I feel comfortable signing up for 4 more (but only 4 at a time until paid). Their reports are a good bit shorter and easier than most I've come across, and the shops are for something I would likely buy anyways.
I just signed up with them, can't find any shops. I looked in Calif, Arizona and other states. I did not see any shops. Are they still in business? What states have their shops?
I'm in South Carolina, and I see quite a few shops. Per Abner, he said the main provider they are using is "phasing out" in December (yet I still see them on the board?) and they're going to another provider for the delivery shops. I've never gotten a take-out shop through them. The longer I do shops for them, it seems as though they are improving their site/service, but it definitely is slow. Now to "REALLY" start hounding for payment... I was told payments were held up "because of the holidays" but now that they're over, this is my new full-time job to get this money that I'm owed.

Of course! We experienced shoppers correctly provided our Paypal email to dozens of other companies each, we just happen to all be clueless when it comes to giving Red Quanta the exact same info. (sarcasm)
Abner at Red Quanta says November shops "will be paid from the 12th to the 15th of January", even though the text that arrives when a shop is approved says "You will be paid in 30 days in your Paypal account." I'm not sure how 30 days from early November is January 12th, but whatever, he swears it's coming. So now we wait until Friday/Monday.

Umh, Umh, Umh. I red about Carrie Coyle and Red quanta on the forum months ago. This was just after they had assigned me 8 shops when I asked to try 1. So after reading all the problems, and at the risk of a "flake" mare (or 8), I turned the shops back and said I would not be doing them. I was glad I did it at the time and I am glad now that I turned them back. It is a SHAME to come to this forum months later and see that CC and Red quanta and still doing the same crap.
