Measure CP Payment

Honestly Lorri, why are you even still talking about this? I don't know your timezone, nor do I know when you get sick, take lunch, bathe, etc.

Further, you aren't just a "regular person", or just any scheduler. You are the owner & CEO of a company in 2018. Maybe you should try that role sometime?

WOW. Just quoting before you delete it.

I'm sorry, I'm going to be that guy right now. And it may seem like I'm "sucking up" to my boss, which couldn't be further from the truth. We offered help. We helped way more than we didn't. Eric, you were impatient and couldn't even offer an apology for attacking people that you felt were obligated to help you, yet weren't, yet did so anyway.

You're right though. Lorri isn't just a "regular person". She oversees tens of thousands of shops per month, a plethora of employees, about a million shoppers, and a ton of clients. I personally work 7 days a week, even when I'm not trying to help you with something I don't have to. She works more than I do. You wish, as do I, that you had the energy and patience to do what she does.

You'd be lucky to actually work for a CEO like her.

Yes, I'm a CEO. But unlike the politicians in this day and age, I don't hold myself in any higher regard than I do my staff. I guess that's why I'm good at my job. Also, most "CEO's" wouldn't take the time to respond to you on a message board after they've already responded to you via email and PM and after her staff has also responded to you MULTIPLE times about a project that we didn't even schedule!

Dude, knock it off already. I helped you. You're welcome. Move on. Please.
There you go again, Lorri. Is there any wonder why your statements are often perceived as abrasive, combative, and condescending? I've moved on, yet its clearly obvious that you have not.

You & I have previously corresponded via PM & email, yet its very clear to me what your true intentions are with your public posts.
Whatever Eric. I think that you're ridiculous. She offered to help. She did help. Yet you allude to nonsense.

She's nicer than I am, that's for sure.

And yet you are still posting...

The email we got today about the merger is just another ploy to by them some time. My Independent Contract states I will be paid by the 16th of the month following the month the shop was performed. I spent close to $500 of my own money on a hotel shop. I was assured I would be paid by the end of September, which is already late per the contract.
I live in CA and employment laws are strict. The labor board doesn't take kindly to Employers withholding payment to employees or IC. I'm not happy and will not tolerate this from them.
If they do read these boards, I'd suggest getting payment out ASAP. This company has been deceptive in thier contractual obligations.
Help? She isn't helping. Its her FIDUCIARY RESPONSIBILITY to follow through on requests.

It's pretty clear that everyone is going to be paid now with the merger. Why not close this thread?
I think the merger is great news, but it would make sense to close the thread once all the outstanding shops have been paid and everyone is back on a routine schedule of being paid. Which will hopefully be very soon!
As to if and when all will be paid, that is predicated upon if this were a merger, which has been mentioned, or an acquisition. In addition, if an acquisition, is there language in the contract that the acquiring MSC does or does not assume obligations to contractors. I am not attempting to rain on any parades, merely posting a thought. Hopefully for all who are owed, it is indeed a merger.
It would be great if a company rep from one of the two companies in question would come on here and tell us what is going on instead of a 2nd or 3rd party scheduling company who has made it clear it is not their responsibility to pay the shoppers
I made it clear to one person, who was being impatient and questioning our credibility, that it is not our responsibility, BUT, we are helping anyway.

Anyway, I was informed today, after continuing my effort to help, that all money owed was transferred to PayPal and due to clear tomorrow. I guess not all "heroes" wear capes.

Thank you to everyone for their patience.

Pete, you can be my hero. I really don't think I would have gotten paid without your help.

Thank you.

LOL or not!

*I'm owed a whopping $30. I'm not complaining and I'm not worried about getting my $30 eventually and I'm not concerned with taking more shops from them I just found the timing hilarious.

**Also Pete is pretty great

I wanted to publicly thank Steve from Quantum in greatly assisting me with my July payment from MCP. Steve was very forthright in communication, and professional with his correspondence. I also want to thank Kimberly N. from MCP with her past correspondence, as well as her current shop offers. They've always been really good, and I'll continue to support MCP by shopping with them, even if they are merging with HS Brands in the very near future.

I also like to thank Pete from KSS. He seems to be a pretty nice guy, and genuinely cares about the general welfare of his shoppers and affiliate companies. I apologize Pete if you & I got off on the wrong foot. That certainly wasn't my intention.

Thank you.

So five minutes after Pete posted this I got an email from MCP that PayPal rejected their transfer because they thought it was fraudulent. The email said it was being resent and payment should be made within 5 days.

That was 10 days ago..........

I honestly have never been concerned with payment. But the excuses have gone past reasonable now. How many excuses can a company put out before it becomes obvious the excuses are fake?

We may have to give Lorri and Pete the benefit of the doubt, bgriff. The KSS response time may be 4 days, or up to two weeks. Maybe Lorri is sick again.

The email came from Measure CP.. not from Pete or I. And no one is out sick. We also don't process the payments. MCP is having issues with paypal and Kimberly is communicating directly with shoppers. We have been respectfully asked to let her handle all communications about payments going forward. I'm pretty sure she said she was sending an update email to all unpaid shoppers today.
Yup. They were bought out by HS. What peeves me is they keep sending emails saying money has hit PayPal account & we’ll see it in 5-7 days. What I thought was really crazy is when they sent email later saying they deposited money but PayPal thought it was fraudulent?!! Bizarre?!! I can’t decide if it was better when I didn’t hear anything at all or when I started getting all these emails promising to pay. The tone of their emails is like we are being unreasonable to be contacting them so much because there’s only one of them and thousands of us?!

There's always room for improvement, it's the biggest room in the house!
The announcement on Measure CP's site reads:

Kimberly Nasief, founder and CEO of Measure CP has joined HS Brands Global click here to learn more. HS Brands has assumed shopper payments as of 9/1/2018. Any assignment completed prior to 9/1/2018 is still payable by Measure CP. Thank you, The HSB Global Team

What it actually means is anybody's guess at this point. The shop I did months ago shows paid on 10/2 but I haven't received it.

I assume they are paying the employees, the landlord and the electric company, right after they pay the lawyers, but they cannot manage to pay the shoppers, upon whom their entire business is built.
I finally got paid too. Thanks so much to Pete for keeping an eye on my payments during the transition.
