I emailed Kern over a week ago. He said I should have been paid. He forwarded the message to MCP. Still nothing. I don't think I would ever do another shop for them.
If they are waiting to be paid by their clients, they can't tell you anything.

I had the exact same question! I took all 4 photos, room on the report for just 2. The report was super simple. Within hours of submitting the report, I got a request to e-mail the 2 missing photos. I sent them right away. I've sent a couple follow-up e-mails requesting acknowledgement of receipt of the additional photos, nothing. I just did the shop last Friday.

I didn't know about the payment problem. Do hope it works out!
I did shops for MCP that I scheduled through them in Jan and Feb. No problem with getting paid on time. Then I get messages from Kern that they are scheduling shops for MCP. I did several shops in the first few days of March. Still have not been paid for March. I have emailed Kern scheduler, he said MCP is having problems with their accounting system/software and I should be paid Wednesday (5/2)...still nothing. I have called MCP and left messages with promises that the Director of Finance would get back to me and that they are putting "Urgent" payment late and needed on the messages to this person. No call backs from them. Just sent another email to the scheduler at Kern to let them know payment still has not been made and not getting call backs from MCP. Not happy about this situation. They demand our shop report is submitted the same day as the shop, but it is ok for them to not pay. Nope. Unacceptable. Just wanted to let you all know that there is more than just a software issue and you could be waiting a long time before you are paid, if we ever get paid. sad smiley

I called twice and left messages about the pics. They said someone would be calling me back. No one called back. If there is an issue with a shop I would not have assistance or an answer. I try and stay away from those companies. I don't know why they hired KSS, they don't have that many shops. I don't like it. If these shops come up again I would have to think twice. I'm not worried about getting paid though as I haven't had issues being paid. They pay when the client pays.
I got a response from the KSS scheduler from my email yesterday morning. He thanked me and he stated he had forwarded my email to the CEO of Measure CP. I want to keep KSS in the loop, as they probably will not get paid either and they still have quite of few shops for them on the job board in my area.

I did do a google search of their company and they are located in a very nice office building which is fairly new. Many offices in that building (actually floors of offices and conference rooms) belong to a company that charges a fee for their people to answer any company's phone (with the company name) and take messages. It makes it look like they are very successful, an office in the nicest part of town. The problem with that is that it is basically a virtual office. No one is at the office. All work from home. I have friends in that town and see if they can swing by to see if MCP does have actual offices there or if it is an illusion of an office.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh, that would explain the person(s) who answered the phone when I called. I would like to tell them that the answering service made me feel like I didn't matter at all and if that is the impression they are going for, they have succeeded. I've probably called two mystery shopping companies in the last few years, MF I called back because I was in a meeting when they called and Measure CP trying to get them the other two pics that didn't have a link on their report. I hope I don't have to call other companies in the future, it was not fun.
Hi, I have not been paid for my February shop and have not received any communication about it. I have called 4 times and emailed 3. I have emailed my scheduler 3 times and am very upset. The owe me $535 for a tax shop. The payment was due 3 weeks ago. Any advice on what to do?
Yeah, it's super frustrating and doesn't sound like anything can be done at this point in time. But that has me worried that it's not just one client that hasn't paid them... now that's sounding more and more like an excuse and not the real reason.
I received an email response from the Kern scheduler. He sent (forward) my email, along with his comments to the CEO of the company (MCP) on Friday. Still no response.

Not sure about the rest of you but I have received three emails since Friday from the Measure CP scheduler, wanting shoppers to sign up for more shops. SMH. Seriously?

I hate to say it, but it is not looking good for any of us to get paid, unless they are trying to get a loan, or they are having attorney's step in. I remember those tax shops - they were actually for a bank and required you to go to tax preparation folks to see if they offered you the rapid refund product that the bank offers. Prior to the shops to have your taxes done, they had shops (that paid ok) to go out and audit the tax preparation people to make sure they were following regulations, etc.

This is certainly frustrating.

Maybe we will get paid on or around the 16th of this month for all past shops. Crossing fingers

I too did a shop for MCP in March and still waiting for payment. I've emailed MCP along with my KSS scheduler and haven't heard back from either. The $100 is a lot of money for me.

I am the KSS account manager for the MCP shops. To my knowledge, I have responded to every email and call that I have received regarding MCP payment. Please email me at KSSPete@kernscheduling.com and I will respond as quickly as possible. For those of you here that have emailed me in the past and are waiting for an update, Measure has told us that payments will be processed today!
With the tax shops, we are told it may be a little longer. There was some shopper fraud that the client picked up on, so it is delaying payment by the client until they can go through each one individually to be sure the amount claimed by the shopper is the correct amount.

I've never had a late payment from MCP, yet here I sit waiting on payment for a March video shop. Unlike the rest of you, I got nothin'.

I would cancel! I'm due to be paid shops from February and am getting the run around....
Yeah, I'm sorry. I know you guys stress not to count on this income but seriously, due to "issues", this is my ONLY income. I made a ton of phone calls last month on a project that sucked because I knew MCP paid on the 15th. I depend on the schedulers to schedule me shops that will be paid and a company to be truthful and pay on time or at least advise that payment might be late. Then I have the CHOICE of whether I want to do a lot of work for one company that might or might not pay on time, or I can use my time to work for several other companies who I KNOW will pay on time. I really would have spent my time elsewhere, I'm sorry. If I wanted to be paid 45 or 60 days later, then I would have worked for them in March. If I wanted to be paid around the tenth, I would have done more work for say, RBG. I like Measure, I like Robin, don't get me wrong. Its just that I trust I will be paid and yes, I depend on this income. It is what it is. These are just my opinions.
Hi guys. I have been going through Measure's accounting department and had some success that way. Today I will call Kimberly and stress that this needs to be fixed today. Please email me asap, if you have not already (Maggiemay028, I know you have), so I have your info when I speak to her. If any of you have shops with me that are due today, or past due, please include that in your email so I can extend the due date. I do not expect you to complete shops while still waiting on payment.
It is interesting to hear you have had success with the accounting department. I'm getting crickets from emails and phone calls. And since the shops were not scheduled through KSS, my only advocate is me.
