Chipotle Shops

I got paid on Friday also. Like rofl taco said, it was bittersweet.

JAS, thank you for the acknowledgement. This thread was filled with information that was useful and used by so many. I'm happy to see it's not the "end of mission" for this thread.

With that being said, I still go to Chipotle on Sundays. It's a habit that is ingrained in me now. I notice that I am not always being charged for queso. I'm also taking the surveys, and asking for "a little more!"

Does anyone know if Chipotle will go to another MSC? I apologize if I missed this topic but I checked the posts and didn't see anything about this. :-(

I just started working for this MSC a few months ago so I am sad to see it's already been discontinued. :-(
I feel you dl. I started shopping them in January, and did shops almost every Sunday.

JAS posted, and she is a reliable source, that the MSC and Chipotle have a personal, long standing professional relationship. It's unlikely that they will take the work to another MSC.

RIP. I enjoyed the food ,will miss them. With all the problems they have, I expect their quality to plummet with the program discontinued. I was scheduled for the training at Shake Shack. I missed my appointment so they did not give me another chance to train. I checked out the Shake Shack in Boston , turns out i didn't like the food.

I can confirm as true.
At least from the MSC's standpoint. Unless you got that from a Chipotle executive?

True, I only have one side of it, the MSC side. But, as a shareholder in the company (I own Chipotle stock and follow the earnings closely) I would doubt very seriously that they would want to embark on another shopping program any time soon. Multitudes of failed programs that cost them money, such as the rewards card program, chorizo, and the awful queso dip...and the number of burritos and chips and salsa they gave away the year after the first health scare trying to lure their customers back--all cost them big bucks. I am going to guess that until they start showing a strong profit again they are not going to want to spend the money on a shopping program. And, if they decide to do it again in the future, it stands to reason (given how picky Steve Ells is) they would want to go back to the pool of trained shoppers with the MSC who was doing them before.
I agree with all of that, but I also think that one should not make categorical statements when one only has the viewpoint of one of two sides. And let's face it, whatever the MSC is saying Chipotle says to them or how Chipotle feels about them is still only 1 side.

I don't recall making any categorical statements about whether or not they would use a different MSC or not. The only thing I wrote that I was sure of is that Chipotle decided to end the program. I wrote the words "I would doubt" and "I am going to guess" and in another part of this thread I wrote the words "pretty positive". Those are not absolute or categorical statements.
I never said you were the one who did. There were several in this an other threads if I'm not mistaken.

I hope the schedulers and editors found work. They were the nicest company.

I know Michelle is still scheduling for another client of the same MSC as well as for another company.
Deanna (sp) schedules for another company too. I don't like any of the shops she schedules for what that specific MSC but I did two just cause I liked her.
So far all the shop emails I've seen from Deanna have involved visiting a car or other form of vehicle Dealership. I do not drive, do not have a license to do so, and really have no business in a dealership. I am hoping that company will get a new client, and Deanna is the scheduler for them, because I would love to help her out. She was one of my favorite schedulers. I miss working with her.

I also receive emails from her that I am not qualified for. It's good to see her name though.

I still go on Sundays. They need their shoppers back!

She is scheduler for another company now..actually she started with that company a months before Chipotle closing.

Shopping Eastern Pennsylvania since 2009
I have only ever eaten their queso as part of a bowl, so maybe I'm missing what's supposed to be so awful about it. Can someone enlighten me?
I asked for a sample, I like the taste and heat, but it has an awful grainy texture, at least mine did. It is almost like there are grains of sand mixed in it. I would not ever order it again.
That was my experience as well, except I didn't like the taste. There was no cheese taste in mine at all. And the sand was gross.

Really it was just spicy sand goo.

Optikdave before you just reject an second offer that might come your way in the future consider this....Shake Shack has a whole different fee structure. You will earn more on those jobs so it might be worth your while. The food gets better the longer you eat it especially when it is totally reimbursed.
Shake Shack just opened a new location near work. That makes two in the area. On the other hand, that is a lot of calories and cholesterol for a shop. What is the pay?

Thanks. Michelle told me if I miss training I wouldn;t get a second chance. I had the burger fries and coke at SS.
So my mother-in-law attempted to purchase queso the other day and the guy behind the counter told her not to get it! I guess it really is THAT bad!!!

Doing what I can to enhance the life of my family! I LOVE what I do smiling smiley
Wow! In my opinion, if people are used to microwaved Velveeta and canned tomatoes, they won't like Chipotle's queso. To me, it tastes authentic, like what I got in Mexico and Los Angeles.

It's the laughing stock of the food world right now. It's horrible. Well known and documented.

I have never seen sand in queso in LA

Edited to add: while I like rotel dip (which is what you referred to), it is not queso.

Did any regular shoppers receive a 1099?
