I'm new to the Mystery shopping world, 3 months I would like to find more MSC's that can give me a more of a variety of shops than what I have been doing. What MSC does Chipolte?

As others have said, we can't reveal that information; but a simple Google search of Chipotle and Mystery Shopping will show you the company's name.
Chris, I am a true steak and potatoes lover, but I get the sofritas about 40% of the time. The texture is like ground beef, and they are moist and tasty usually. about a tad below medium on the spice level. I don't like super spicy stuff and typically I will go with the carnitas, but the sofritas are usually my next go-to. Give 'em a try...I know I was pleasantly surprised.

I tried the chorizo once or twice, and it was good. I usually get carnitas or barbacoa. Has anyone tried the sofritas? I like tofu, but never tried it.
I love their chicken. I've tried everything else but the beef is meh and I don't like pork or tofu...
there are never any orphans in my area and now I'm peeved. When I first started I got 4 shops then 3. One month I had none last month was one and this month is two.

I want to try the queso because those chips are usually a miss. My guac isn't saving them anymore.

eye, do you shop at home, work or both? I do both and typically get 4 per month; 3 on a slow month.

I want to try the queso also. When the chips are bad, I use them as dippers for my bowl.

I shop at home. My lunch break is too short to complete a shop during lunch time as the nearest one to work is about a 15 min drive away.
I'm hoping that next month's KQ involves queso!

Am I the only one here underwhelmed by queso? Everywhere I look in Texas, they already sell it. Even Chili's had this a super long time ago, before i moved to Texas. I prefer shredded and melted cheese, not "spicy" nacho cheese goo. But if I have to order it next month, I'll order it. I still love me some Chipotle smiling smiley

In MD, we don't get good queso. When I lived in LA, the queso from the Mom n Pop joints was awesome. There's no such thing here, that I've found. It all tastes like melted Velveeta.

I actually used that as a phone call question. My location now has it. I asked if it was real cheese or if it was processed cheese goo. It turns out it is a real cheese blend that is all natural with no preservatives. I might just have to try it.
I'm kind of surprised you can't find it in your area. Here in the good old Midwest I can get fantastic queso.

Yeah, we have several authentic Tex Mex restaurants here with excellent queso; in fact, it's better than the queso that I have had in Austin, Houston, and other Texas cities that my family lives in. There is one local restaurant here that has Queso Fundido that is a wonderful white queso with chorizo in it. Mmmm...I guess I had better get a side of chorizo on my next shop and add it to the queso (before they discontinue the chorizo).
I had the queso with carnitas a few months ago at El Torito and that was wonderful. No velveeta there.
I tried the queso the other day and thought it was gross. It was very gritty, almost like I was eating sand. Also it was pretty bland and not very cheesy. Even adding sour cream to the queso couldn't save it.
Thanks for the info, Phoebe. I wonder if having them fill it half full and adding shredded jack to it would help?
A queso didn't taste cheesy?

The chipotle queso has a gritty texture and is really thin and runny. The cheese taste was off and gross. I will never order it again unless its required for the shops. I have had tons of queso growing up in Texas and I would rather eat the artificial queso at Taco Bell than whatever this is.
I tried the queso for the first time on a non shop. I asked for a sample. I liked the flavor, it was a little on the spicy side and tasted cheesy. But I was shocked at the gritty/sandy taste. I agree with Phoebe, I was going to describe it as a very fine texture, almost like it had sand in it. I am amazed they are serving it like that. I have no idea what is causing it, but it sure does distract from the flavor.

Could it have been the ground pepper seeds that gave it a gritty texture? A queso I had at a Mexican Mom n Pop in LA had that texture and it was due to the seeds.

I really hope next month's KQ involves queso!

Effective September 30 Chipotle is cancelling their mystery shopping program!

Well, I guess none of this matters....just got word today that effective immediately Chipotle is discontinuing their mystery shopping program. I am beyond bummed.
Wow, almost 6 years to the day for me. I'm going to miss that regular gig.

It isn't surprising. The stock has gone from about $500 to $300 in a few months. They are probably cost cutting and the mystery shop program will save them $. Lets see if they can the boorito promotion later this month.
First the awful queso, and now getting rid of the mystery shopping program....they’ve finally “jumped the shark” for me. I’m not sure how they’re ever going to bounce back from everything. I like Chipotle but tbh their food quality, particularly the chips, was so inconsistent. The last few shops I did were so dreadful that I don’t think I’ll return, especially since now I’ll have to pay for it.
