For June, can we just buy chips or do we have to buy chips and something?

The answers are also in the report. quote Honny Brown from above. lol
Honny stop writing here and get to your report so you can finish in under an hour.
ha ha ha! July. I meant July. And I'm amazed at how quickly this year is passing.

For July, you must get one item on the side. But most July shops have been done and reported by now, right?
Ummm...ahem. Honny, you procrastinating wino (pot calls kettle--at least about the wine). Your scheduler might tell you it's ok to do them after the 25th, but unless you are picking up orphans you're gonna piss off the editor.
LOL! This is not due to the grape!

The first shop of July got terminated because I arrived at the restaurant too early. The scheduler asked if I could redo it or send it to orphan status. I let her know that I could do it again, but only on 7/30.

She knows that I reliably do my shops on Sundays, and why. There's no issue there.

I got two shops for this month. On one of the Sundays I don't shop, I'm going to take advantage of the coupon Tarantado posted. I'm very happy that shoppers don't have to arrive in such a tight time window this month.

That's great, Honny! I hope your schedulers communicate with your editors. That used to be an issue, but that was about 6 years ago so hopefully things are all figured out by now, LOL.
JAS, what used to be an issue? The tight time frames? I cancelled quite a few orders over that. Cancelled as in I didn't show up to do the shop, but I went to another location and did a shop there.

I notice one scheduler has only one orphan. She generally has a lot. SO less shops, or she put out less assignments? No way they were all accepted for the normal routine.....

The MSC has a contract to have all shops edited and sent in by the last day of the month. When a lot of shoppers wait until near the deadline of the 25th to do their shops, it creates a backlog of shops, so the editors are scrambling to get everything done and submitted because they had a pile of reports to do at the last minute. That's why I used to get so cross when I was editing, because generally I would have a light amount of editing to do near the beginning of the month and then a heavy load at the end of the month. There are some shoppers who might get 2-4 shops and will do all of them near the end of the month. It's fine if shoppers occasionally wait until mid month to do the first one, but when people get into a habit of doing them all near the deadline it drives editors crazy. Many editors are also mystery shoppers so if they have a pile of reports to edit at the end of the month they aren't available to go do heavily bonused shops for other MSCs. That's one of the reasons I quit being an editor.
Could be that since they opened it up to online training, there are a lot more shoppers.
The long open window for shops is one of the big reasons I love these shops and this msc.
So many of the shops I see for other msc are due in the first week or two of the month and then they get fewer and fewer as the month goes on. In my market most shops get taken at face value and early. There are usually only a very few I can pick up later in the month so it is nice to have these to spread out.

Or the budgets have been cut for the MSC's contract by Chipotle, their client; hence, the online trainings were to help mitigate costs?

Shopping the Greater Denver Area, Colorado Springs and in-between in Colorado. 33 year old male and willing to travel!
You are pretty lucky, Canada. There are no orphans in my area, but I did get a third shop from the scheduler.

Actually my guess is scheduler who I do not want to name does not have as many to assign this round for whatever reason.

Canada, don't the schedulers have all of the Chipotles in a certain region?

"I told myself to quit you; but I don't listen to drunks." -Chris Stapleton
Yes and I see still only two orphans which is VERY unusual. Generally at least 10 or more.
Which still leaves me to believe they are not shopping same number of restaurants.

Edited spelling...

Or a lot of shoppers cancelled last month due to the tight time schedules and now want to do all their shops this month without tight schedules to make up for it.
I've never been fond of Chipotle's chips, so the kid's size is more than enough for me. But the size of the kid's bag has shrunk. It is tiny. It contained exactly 8 chips, and cost $1.12. That's $0.14 per chip.
I used to LOVE their chips but in the past year or so they have changed and I now only eat enough to make a comment about them. About 1 out of 5 times are they crisp enough, and I still don't like them much. Also, the report forum and guidelines are incorrect about the new status of the chips, stating if they are hard it's because they are overcooked. That's wrong. They often are very light in color and obviously are not cooked enough, because when I take them home and put them in my toaster oven they become crisp. So that's a flaw. But, I think the real problem is that not enough customers tell the client how they feel about the chips.
My local store told me about 6 months ago that they had changed how they cooked the chips due to the food scares they have had and that they were trying different cooking methods to get them back to how they used to taste. I had noticed bad chips for a while at that point. But my local store seems to have figured it out as the chips have been like they used to be for several months now.
The salty lime flavor is nice on the chips and mostly they are crispy. I just couldn't get over that there were only 8 chips in the bag. Eight.
Are you friggin' kiddin' me? Chris, that's so messed up. The average bag should have 25+ chips. That was a kid's bag I am guessing?
