Chipotle Shops

The only coupons I have seen were on their website for free chips. I think CANADAMOM saw some other sources.

Which MSC?

EF, we are not allowed to link MSCs and their clients. It's a forum rule and is part of most of the contracts signed with mystery shopping companies.

I have been getting the one taco order every time since they changed the ordering requirements earlier this year...it's the roflwofl taco if memory serves me. I get everything on it that I ever got in my previous bowl order and I would say it is probably about half the size of a bowl when I am done...Cost with full chips is $4.05 here.
This month the ordering requirement is too specific for that. And in big city driving there is no way I can manage to arrive within the time frame unless the store is a few blocks from my house. So I had to decline my jobs.

I noticed on the app the other day that you can order 1, 2, or 3 tacos. I thought they only came in a set of 3.

That's great Christine! You finish your bowls in two days?

The three shops this month worked out for me as well. I will be traveling the last week of June.

Yes, Honny, I eat half in the restaurant and then half another day. Perhaps I should try stretching it out a little next time. I think I got more in my bowl when I ordered online this last time than I usually do ordering at the location.
I'll have a bite or two in the restaurant. The rest I save for work lunch. I mainly eat the kids' chips and guac to make the time go by.

I accepted another shop for this month. I am going to try a salad and eat that for dinner for a few days.

And what do you do sit and read a book or something to pass the time required IN the restaurant if you are not eating

The salad is a great choice as it not only has lettuce but you can load your bowl with the exact ingredients in the same amount you always got in addition to the lettuce...

To spend time but not eat much you just need to pose as one of those slow picky eaters that you may know or see. Take a bit on your fork and chew 55 times. Look around, converse with your friend, read a book etc. All the people I know who eat that way are all thin so maybe I will look like that.
I take notes in Google Keep. The two bites of the bowl and the three chips, one with guac, will last me for 20 minutes. The other ten minutes are spent ordering and evaluating the bathroom, patio, etc.

I got a salad on Saturday (sofritas) and Sunday (chicken). I was very pleased! All the flavor and less carbs! The lettuce shrank after a day, so my salad was not as voluminous as my bowl. I will see how many days it lasts me. I'm aiming for four.

I'm so glad you told us what you do during the time required IN the restaurant.

Yuk with the lettuce;my bowls are sans lettuce these days. It was so much better before they started sanitizing EVERYTHING. I mean, the flavor has a distinct chemical taste, anyone else notice that? Give me back my germs!!!!!
Consider the source!

JAS, Saturday was my first salad with them. While I did not detect a chemical taste, I did notice that the lettuce had a flavor. It was pronounced, so I included it in my report.

Well, I never got a salad, but I used to top my bowls with lettuce and I quit about a year ago because I noticed a funky chemical taste. To me, that's not a flavor... I tend to think of flavor as something good. As in flavorful. Flavorless is just that.
JAS, I'm not fighting with you. I'm just saying that I noticed the lettuce tasted like fresh lettuce, as opposed to having a chemical taste.

If I detected a chemical taste, like you, lettuce would never be in my bowls!

The way to figure it out is if the edges have even a twinge of brown they are not treated with chemicals.
If you see all shiny green on every single piece they can be chemically treated with MSG.

Prepared food should not be kept/eaten for four days, regardless if it is refrigerated. That's a food safety nightmare. Gross.
Good point. My limit for food prepared by me in my own kitchen maxes out after a couple days. If it was cooked on Monday and not eaten by Wednesday it goes. For leftovers transported from any restaurant I would not eat it beyond the following day and even that depends on how far I drove and the whether it was hot and sunny or cool and cloudy.

Then don't keep your bowls for four days. Mine are fine.

eye, what option were you looking for with a salad?

I made a rookie mistake yesterday. I had my route of errands mapped out. Chipotle was at the beginning with another store. I ran my errand at the Total Wine and forgot about Chipotle.

I remembered it when I was close to home.

But you didn't forget Total Wine!

Bummer! Had you already placed the order?

No. The plan was to place the order before I went into Total Wine. I would do the 15 minute pick up.

I get some kind of excited when I go in that store.

I'm a wineaux, not a wino!
