@Researcer01.....we have so may vegan restaurants, why go to one that dosn't serve vegan if in fact you are vegan. You can eat whatever you want in this day and age without putting animal eaters down. I buy meat that hasn't been injected with hormones, eat cage free eggs and try and stay healthy...hey it's working, I'm 80 ,look 60, feel 40 am healthy..it's the injections and processed foods, along with trans fats that'll kill you....you sound so bitter you need a good steak....tofu goes so far.....just sayin.

Vegetables are what food eats and beer (and wine) is proof God loves us and wants us to be happywinking smiley

I love animals. They taste really good. And I like my steaks on the medium rare side, cooking steak well-done is what's really evil (IMO). And I like beer and alcohol just fine, it kills the bacteria. To each their own, right?

And actually, they serve salad, vegetables, and bread there, LOL. You can get a salad and some veggie sides to go with your free bread, and you can order tea or juice to drink. Nowhere in the guidelines does it state you have to order meat or booze.

Forgot to add...nothing like a good medium rare steak to make the stress go away......wash it down with a good red wine and some crusty french bread...OMG ain't life grand...smiling smiley

Lisa, that was something derived from Benjamin Franklin sorta (I think he said beer). I think. It might have been spirits or libations (or beer), not sure.
OK, I get it, but how can a whole thread mention a place that is shopped, & I see many posts on here with shops with a letter left out, etc.--lol.

Do your own homework. You are breaking an ICA to tell the name ... and stop asking!

Sounds like he needs more iron in his diet.

why would someone go to a steakhouse and complain they do not have tofu? And their beef is not full of bacteria, thsts just an ignorant statement

It's a myth that a vegan/vegetarian diet doesn't supply enough iron. Vegetarian foods are loaded with iron which becomes even more available to the body if you combine it with vitamin C. Yes, heme iron from animal foods is better assimilated by the body but that's not such a good thing. Iron is quite toxic to the human body in high amounts and is a very serious problem.

I don't know if Researcher is a troll or not, but if this were a thread on eating burgers made from dogs, there would be judgement.
Tova, you are correct, a wide variety of fresh produce can give us most of the nutrition that we need. Water can be toxic in high doses.

Luckily, I eat vegetarians with my fresh produce, so I think I have all of my nutrients!

Honny, you eat vegetarians? What about vegans?

Thanks! This one is also a To Go. They are allowing the 2 for $20, just different items.

I like vegan Black Angus filet mignon, and that poor steer probably was sad.

I do agree that humanely raised and killed meat is the way to go, and I like cage free chickens and eggs, too. I am willing to pay more at grocers who provide food products like this.
I mean, cage free can still mean there are 500,000 chickens in a 2,000 sq. ft. paddock. It does not mean they are dancing around 20 acres of rolling hills abundant with wheat grass, worms, grasshoppers and a fresh water stream.
Yes, I know. I actually do demos several times a month for a nutritional company, Ancient Nutrition, with their Bone Broth Protein that is derived from chicken bones. I have to attend frequent conference calls and do a lot of studying outside of demo time. Our chicken bones are from broiler chickens that are raised as humanely as possible and are sourced from small family farms. I realize that cage free isn't the same as pasture raised. I also know that sometimes cage free means that some chickens are terrorized by other chickens who maul them viciously.
JAS, what is special about bone broth? How does it differ from beef, pork or any other broth or stock made with animal bones?

I am leaving to go do a bank shop, but I will get back with you later on that...of course you can Google Dr. Josh Axe and Ancient Nutrition and get the info that way, too smiling smiley
Jas....we have a Black Angus in my town and I love their meat but alas , they only shop bar audits and you get two drinks and one appetizer, which by the way has over 1000 calories...wish they did the dinner house.

Google doesn't give the full picture. That's why I asked you. You have first hand, unbiased knowledge.
