They are offering some in my area for $30.00 plus reimbursement this weekend! Too bad I'm entertaining my daughter and a team of 14 years olds for a birthday sleepover. I would be all over that.
I just saw one on ISS but the only reimbursement is for beer. Not interested.

Tova, me too, at a location that's only 12 miles from me. I wouldn't have done it for the base pay but $55 is awesome!
I was glad to have gotten it for base fee. I doubt they would ever be bonused in this area.

I do the one that's two miles from my house for base fee. I think the $55 was possibly for a dropped shop location.

Edited to add that it may only be 12 miles but they have the highway all torn up with construction so it's a PITA to get to and back. But for $55...smiling smiley

I just expanded my radius and see two locations on the central coast of California avail for $55. Too far for me. I often see shops on the central coast with bonuses so apparently not too many mystery shoppers live there.
I am happy that I got my for base fee smiling smiley

After I talked to them, I thought of a few more questions. I emailed the scheduler but they have not reply. Would it be best if I call them again?
I never got an answer when I asked a question a couple of months ago. You may get a faster answer if it's something you can ask here.
I am pretty sure that this MSC is out of the office on weekends and I think the schedulers for them work in the office and are not "from home" schedulers.
Will it be OK if I asked here? I hate to ask and I break any rules. I know we can't name the company.
It’s ok to ask. If the answer is some how a violation of the IC agreement we’ll let you know.
The ones that have done it, have they mess up on your order. If they have are we allowed to correct it?

Thanks
My orders have been correct. They should verify that the order is correct when they give it to you.

Not exactly sure what you mean by “mess up on your order” but I would check that everything I ordered was included. If they forgot an item, I think it would be reasonable for you to ask for it before leaving. Include everything that happened in your narrative. Read the sample narrative as it mentions the employee asking you to check the order to make sure it’s correct.
Since the guidelines do not specify whether or not if your order is correct whether or not you can correct it I assumed I could correct it and I have. That shop was approved.
I just did a carside shop last Tuesday in SoCal. What a breeze! Everything went perfectly and fast and I live a couple miles away- Food was still warm even after pictures. Easy report I thought, I’ll be trying to get more of these.
So, has anyone had the experience where the shop went over the time the shop was supposed to end by a couple of minutes? The guidelines state that the entire shop must be completed within the time frame. I did a lunch shop and it was 2:02 before they brought my food out when it was supposed to be ready at 1:55. I got there at 1:52 and my payment transaction was completed by 1:54 but it was 2:02 before the food was brought out. I also am hoping I didn't mess up by arriving 3 minutes before my quoted time, but the guidelines made it seem they were more concerned with the shopper being late to pick up the food than be being a few minutes early...I wouldn't think 3 minutes would be a big deal.
See if your question is answered in the phone call. I also had a question and did not hear back from them.

There should be a "packaged with care" sticker on your To-Go bag. That should ensure the order is correct.

@JASFLALMT I don't know about how crucial a few minutes is to this MSC or it's client. It's kind of cutting it close to do the shop near the end of the time frame. But if you were there when the food was supposed to be ready, even a couple of minutes early, I would think that you should be paid. It's on them that they weren't on time. You never know though, I hope they approve it.

That happened to me on another shop with a different MSC, though I was there at the beginning of the time frame of a 2.5 hour time frame. I ordered a very simple dinner yet they didn't bring me my check until WELL after the time frame and I did not get paid. That was BWW and I was in a different city. I think they gave me like demerits or something also. >>>>Spicy1 rolls eyes
Right, in the guidelines it states to order at least 20 minutes before the end of the time period, which I did. In fact, I called at 1:33 and ordered only to be told they were out of ribs, so I said I would call back in a few minutes because I had to look at the menu again to figure out a substitution. That threw me for a loop that they were out of ribs. I called back pretty quickly with a different entree order. A different location a few weeks ago was out of ribs, too, and it wasn't like it was the end of the day or anything so I found it really odd. Of course I put it in the reports.
You have to understand that they are shutting down stores. Probably having problems with the suppliers.
I watched a news story, no it was Guy Fieri's restaurant show, I think, where a restaurant was buying Popeye's chicken and serving it in their restaurant. They made it clear that it was Popeye's.

I thought they served beef ribs.
They were out of ribs? Don't they have an all you can eat rib special?
