Wow, Lisa, I hope you do get paid!

She will, they know it would cause a major uproar if they don't pay their shoppers. That is bad business practices. They are obviously having cash flow problems.

I don't believe for one minute I will be paid unless maybe my lone fee from March is keeping them afloat during their "cash flow" problems. Look back at the thread. Forum members have received payments due in April, May and even June. My assignment should have been paid in April.

LOLing @ "lone fee from March is keeping them afloat." I am trying to be diplomatic and positive. Again, my scheduler helped me; I don't know why yours can't help you. This is real foul how they are doing you, Lisa. If they don't pay you in the next couple of months, then I will say your right. But until then, I am going to hold out hope that they are going to follow good business practices and PAY their shoppers! Otherwise, no one is going to want to work with them again; without shoppers they will go out of business.

Consumer Perspectives: We know you are reading these posts, and we implore you to do the right thing and pay Lisa and others!
Are you really saying that you would work for this company again? Yes, they have had a "cash flow" problem, but it is the lack of communication that has upset most of us.
I was lucky and my scheduler assisted in payment, but I would never put myself in that position again when I have experienced this problem.
So, I will ask again-would you ever work for this company again? My answer is a resounding "NO"
It does seem some are focusing on payment while glossing over the refusal of the company to communicate with us. Maybe others are satisfied with the lone, two month old post from Kimberly asking shoppers to give her a few days.

I addressed the lack of communication during my first post. After a while, I just wanted my money. I wouldn't have cared what they said at that point. It would be professional and nice to have them give shoppers an update as to when to expect payment. I surmise they don't know when they are going to pay people, so I guess they don't want to lie and say "the check is in the mail." In any event, this is terrible and gives the company a bad reputation.

If you are directing that question to me, I never said I would work for them again. I said nobody would want to work for them again... I only worked for them one time and had to go through this debacle at a time when I really needed my money. And Lisa was there for me when I first started; it it pisses me off that they are doing her like this! Now, from what I understand from people this has never happened before. I might give them another chance one day - in the far future - if the reviews on this forum turn around for the better. But they might not want me anyway since I started this thread. : - )
Well, I'll be damned. I just got paid.

What did I tell you, girl! I knew they would pay you; never doubt the power of our forum. They READ, and as you know, respond to our posts. These mystery shopping companies know it is never good business practice to not pay their shoppers for services rendered. Congrats, Lisa, I am so happy to hear this!

We know you are going through a transitional period right now, and I would like to thank you for operating in good faith and paying us. It is always better to be paid late than never. I am sure you will be back up to speed in no time.

You are welcome. I went to bat for you yesterday. It seems that the other scheduler you worked with (not with KSS) did not turn in payment records. I stayed on top of MCP to do the research to find your shop and pay you. Things are kind of a mess over there with all the personnel changes, but they are trying to do the right thing, it just requires a bit of research to see who submitted (prior to Sassie) .. it's a long story, but I'm glad I was able to help.
Lorri, you may have gone to bat for someone named Lisa, but it was not me. My payment records were never missing. I have had a copy of my pay statement from their website since a day or so after it was approved. All during the wait, I checked it on a regular basis and it was always there. Let me add, my scheduler was not supposed to turn in any pay records.

Oh, it was definitely you, Lisa. I will email you the conversation I had with Kimberly if you'd like. You had emailed Pete about your shop and he forwarded it to me because he didn't know how to help. I used my influence with the owner to get you paid today. You are welcome.
Lorri, I emailed Pete because he offered to assist though he and KSS had nothing to do with my shop. If memory serves, he thought he could at least make sure the message was forwarded to the correct person. It was a kind offer. If you shared my public complaints with Kimberly, great since she was obviously not keeping up with the thread. However, my records were never lost and it was never my scheduler's responsibility nor would it have been necessary for him to provide Measure with any documentation. Measure downloaded my video on March 23. In some cases I do give a scheduler a head's up when a shop is complete. In this case it was not necessary because we were not nearing a deadline.

Are they going to release the PayPal payments that have been pending since 6-15? I finally had to tell Pete I would not do any more shops for them.

I thought it was because of our posts. LOL Well, in any event, they do read them and however it happened thank goodness. This just seems like it is a hot azz mess!

It sounds like you emailed Pete, and he forwarded it to Lorri who took care of it. Pretty clear.

It sounds as though the MSC either lost, or can't keep track of what was paid.
I think the issue was the declaration that it was her scheduler's fault she wasn't paid, not that Lorri didn't reach out to Measure about the payment.

I can read and don't need someone to tell me if statements are clear or not. I said Pete made a kind offer and we emailed back and forth on May 29.

bgriffin is correct. I don't know who is trying to shift the blame to the scheduler, nor do I understand their motivation. Because the accusation was in a public forum, I defended him in a public forum.

While I have no proof whether records were lost or not, I do have all the unanswered emails, including those returned as undeliverable, along with copies of the pay statement pulled from their website. I was checking regularly to be sure it had not been deleted.

I have sent emails to Pete at KSS, Robin at Measure CP, and left numerous messages for accounting without any reply. May payments have been pending for almost a month. When are they going to be released?

The scheduler did nothing wrong. I just mentioned the scheduler because they have a direct line of communication to insiders in the companies who can get things done. However, it is NOT their job to do so, and they do it out of the kindness of their hearts.

This is my question: How did they "lose" records if you were constantly sending them the pay statement from their own website and emails regarding the non payment of the shop? Hmmmmmm
Hi Miranda! Looking back at my emails I see that I did respond to you a few times, though admittedly not the last time. The last email you sent was forwarded to Kimberly, and Lorri and I have been staying on top of Measure to try to get everyone paid as quickly as possible. I know that you have been more than patient, and it is not right you have had to wait so long, but I ask that you please be patient just a little longer. Measure is catching up and making good on all the delinquent payments. Lorri and I are doing everything we can do to push them along. I wish there was more we could do other than tell you that Measure is making good on it all and you 100% WILL be paid.
@bgriffin wrote:

Regardless of who was a fault for the lack of payment, the reason that a payment occurred was that Lorri handled it.

For that, I’d expect a thank you.

Sigh.

Lorri rocks, seriously.
@bgriffin wrote:

All I know is that in the records, this was marked as already paid. I was insistent to MCP that I did not think it had been paid. This was not my responsibility. I did not schedule the shop, I made no money off of Lisa's efforts. But I insisted that MCP go through all the Paypal records and find out if it was indeed included in the payment file that schedulers have to send to MSP's to make sure their shoppers get paid. This one was not. But it took a great deal of research to figure this out.

I am not trying to blame anyone, just saying that this was never processed and it should have been. It has nothing to do with KSS, however, I do think a "Thank You" would be appropriate since I took a lot of my own personal time (which I was not compensated for) to help out someone that I believed was telling the truth.

Of course, I know I won't get that since Lisa has had a beef with me for years, but let the record show that I don't hold grudges and help shoppers any way that I can, regardless of what they say about me on public forums.

We will continue to work with MCP til everyone is paid what they are owed. Payments are being made on nearly a daily basis. Many May payments have already been sent and more are being sent every day. This will be cleared up.
Lorri, we are all very grateful to you and Pete for the work that you and Kern does. Thank you very much! I personally make it a point to go through Kern for shops than the MSC.

I was paid via PayPal from MCP for a substantial sum for one shop that I did in the first week of June. I certainly appreciated the "Thanks for your patience" comment in the PayPal notes.
Interesting how so few come to post publicly about helping us but are so fast to take credit for people getting paid. Did anyone consider that maybe the company, MCP is catching up on their own and no one, including us on the forum had anything to do with it?

MSC's don't like negative feedback on this forum. It is bad for all businesses: MCP and Scheduling companies. And no company wants to have a bad reputation. So never underestimate that fact! And if a client was to get on here and read posts, it would not be leave a favorable impression or be a good look for a company.
