FIVE GUYS IS BACK!!

I have seen these show up occasionally. I of course don't know why.

Holiday weeks they often only do one shop, and it can be performed any time during the day. I have seen someone here describe it as a "shopper's choice" shop. We drove past FG yesterday, and it seemed like they were closed, so I guess they are happy to get one shop done for the weekend.

Thanks Mr. Bill. That sounds about right.

BTW, they've done the same thing for Mother's Day week (5/5-5/8).
This week's data point. Got a call from the scheduler offering $22 and asked for $25 and agreed to do it Sunday (I was only offered Saturday and Sunday). She submitted it and it was accepted. However, shortly after the call, I got another call telling me that I had to attend a funeral the same day. There were no reschedule dates available on the site, so I decided to cancel it.
My scheduler called to get me set up for this weekend. Today and Sunday are $18. The shop on Monday, I got for $25. Maybe the fees are increasing again.

I just got a $25 Samantha offer at a location that is higher than I've had these offers for previously (but always get $25 for).
I was just wondering if anyone has seen/done any phone shops for 5G lately? It's been several months since the last time I saw one, I think. I prefer not doing dine in shops, but online order shops are few and far between, and I was wondering if phone shops are still being conducted.
I noticed that the ones with MAO used to be at $18 before the MAO appeared. Now they are appearing when they reach $15. I'm not sure if that's good or bad.

Have not seen phone shops, which is fine with me since online are much better. There are online shops for this week and next week. I just got an online dinner shop today.

I have not seen any that permits using a phone in quite some time. The app or internet shops show up on a regular basis, but the standard walk-in and order shops are far more common.

@MisterBill @myst4au Thanks for your observations! I know that online shops are still available, but most of those get taken in my area before they are even bonused. Even the Dine In shops here are popular and taken by $15 fee. I haven't been doing 5G shops lately because they are so popular and the fees never seem to go above $15. I guess if I really want one I might jump at an online shop for less, since I'm still able to stay within the $14.20 reimbursement in my area (last time I checked, anyways). I was just hoping that Phone shops were still available as another possible non-dine-in shop that I could do.
I saw a $25 fee today so I took it. I do a Five Guys shop every couple months and I swear the price goes up every time I do a shop. Today it cost me $17.96 for a little cheeseburger, little fries and regular drink. I don't know why anyone would choose to eat here. I could go to Red Robin and get bottomless steak fries for less.

I wasn’t impressed with Red Robin

Does FG seem empty when you are there? i agree that they are expensive but they're doing OK from what I see.

Was the $25 shop one of the last 30 minutes before closing shops? Most of the shops I've seen for that price are the late shops.

Have you tried looking a little further than you normally do to see if there are any online shops still available for other locations? Or maybe an area that you normally are not near but will be for something else? I am obviously fortunate that the shops in my area go wanting and that i am able to get my price for them. If you cannot find any ,then you may just need to take them for the $9-10 before someone else gets them, if you really want to do the shop.
At 3 PM today, I had to wait to get a seat. It was not prime time, so I was surprised. 4 "nearby" locations that I visit are usually busy, the other 4 are not. The two that I visit when an hour away from home (in different directions) are always busy.

Most of the locations in my metro area are taken pretty quickly. The ones closest to me (within 10-20 miles) are almost always gone by $15. There is one location that is 75 miles away that sits on the board. One time I made an offer of $50 to do a phone shop there, and was really surprised when I got it for that fee, which is the highest for 5G I've ever gotten. But driving all the way there and back still seemed more trouble than it was worth in the end, so I haven't tried making an offer for that location again even though it is the only one that has several shops sitting forever unfilled. I'd consider taking a closer online shop for $10 or $15 if I can get it, but I do worry about the subsequent refusal of the MSC to go any higher on the fee for that location once I've accepted a lower fee.
Notice that the reimbursement went up to $15.45 today? Still can't get a little cheeseburger for that, but maybe a little hamburger.
Good catch! At the moment, the most that I pay for a Little Hamburger, little fries, and small drink is $14.97 after tax. Adding cheese to get Little Cheeseburger would add $.85 before tax or $0.91 after tax. Frankly, I expect all of the prices to go up by the end of May so that we are in the same relative place as now. That is exactly what happened the last time. I had about a month before the cost increases exceeded the increased reimbursement, and that was not that long ago (months, not years).

The reimbursement is still $14.20 when I look at the board.

Look again. All the new shops show $15.45 reimbursement. I'm doing one tomorrow.

They changed some, but missed a bunch. Like 5/12 online shops and 5/19 regular shops. And of course the ones from the current week and earlier that are still waiting to be taken.

And delivery shops still have $15 reimbursement for food ($30 total, plus $6 for the shake). They did not raise those the last time, either.

On my job board, all the future Dine In shops have gone up to $15.45, but the Online Order shops are still at $14.20. Seems like the Dine In shops with shakes will now be $20.95 reimbursement. The Delivery shops (with shake) are still at $36.
I'm going to be near a location tomorrow that has a load of available shops. They had an online dinner shop that I was going to try to get $30 for (it's currently listed at $25). Then I noticed that tomorrow is not an available date, nor is this weekend! I guess they finally found people to take some of the available shops, and they scheduled them for those days. Disappointing.
Reimbursement still doesn't cover a little cheeseburger in my area. Why not raise the reimbursement to an even $16 or $17?
Yes, new reimbursement started yesterday but cost in Houston for little hamburger meal is now 18.76 and 15.94 for hot dog meal. The little hamburger was 9.79 and the hot dog 7.19.
