It's a gamble. When jobs sit on the board the fees start to increase. If jobs get taken at the low fees there's no reason for the company to increase the fees. But if you wait for an increase the job may get snapped up. Broaden your search area and see if there are any harder to fill shops with higher fees.@rmkeith wrote:
I'm confused and giving away my services! I just take whatever is offered on the websites. How do I get schedulers to call me with more money! I didn't know that was possible. I'm out here doing restaurant shops for $8 and a free burger or sometimes just free fast food.
All advice is appreciated! I've only been MS for about a year and I do a lot and am always approved (except one possible costly mistake that is pending with a different MSC ????).

I'm curious if anyone has ever run into this. I have a FG delivery shop, and the location apparently does not have fries available. I looked it up with all of the major delivery companies, and the only options are drinks, burgers/hotdogs/sandwiches, and shakes. I have no idea if I'm allowed to still order, or would I report it as unable to order. I tried calling the MSC, but the guy I got just referred me to the Help Desk. Of course I have yet to hear back from them, and it's been 5 hours. I rescheduled it for tomorrow, but I'm not too hopeful of having an answer by then either.
When you get back in rotation for your location, do you see shops available for the current week with a bonus, or are they already taken? I know that in my case, I generally do see shops for the current week when they show up again. You are going to have to stop taking shops at the base rate until you see how high they get.@rmkeith wrote:

They prefer that you use the Five Guys app. You didn't list that as one that you tried using. I just checked a location near me and fries are available via the Five Guys app, so it is not an app problem. Guys just released a new app version.] Using the Five Guys app, force it to use a different location to see if fries become available [do not order, of course]. If they are, it is a supply issue at your local location or maybe their deep fryer broke. [I went to a Burger King 2 months ago where they could not make any type of burger because their grill was broken. It does happen.]
Options: 1) Take a screenshot of the phone app showing that fries are not available. 2) Hope that it is a supply problem and that the store will get their shipment of potatoes overnight. 3) Hope that their deep fryer gets fixed.

I did finally hear back from the Help Desk. They said I could continue with the order and then choose option E (fries not available) for question 25a, and then explain in the comment section. So I guess I'll try again tomorrow!
Seems like this location will not deliver to them from the app, so they will need to use a 3rd party service, and they do not have a $15 minimum.@wrosie wrote:
So I guess you will have to order a couple burgers to get over the $15 minimum order for delivery in their app.

I made a rookie mistake and did a dine in for my online shop today. Luckily, I remembered as I was finishing my meal. My fee will be reduced, but I won't be out of pocket.
I always check my shop type before heading out to do it, for fear of doing this. BTW, you can still eat at the restaurant if you ordered online. But if you ordered at the register, they're not going to accept it, as Maryanne said.@HonnyBrown wrote:

Completely different situation here. With FG, when you order online, you get an emailed receipt. In this case, they have an in-store receipt. And some questions are about the ordering process. Also, one of the first questions is how did you place your order, and if it's the wrong answer, they don't let you continue with the form.@Isaiah4031a wrote:
There was one time I did a dine in shop (Different restaurant) and I ordered at the counter.. I told the cashier I wanted to dine in, but I guess she hit the wrong button and my ticket said to go.
I explained what happened and I was paid in full and my report was accepted.

Time for them to up that reimbursement again!
I put in a bid for $30 for a FG shop that I usually get $25 for, but it's about a 35-minute round trip and with the cost of gas and that my car has to have premium fuel, I'm not doing *any* out of town 5G's for $25 anymore.
Anyway, much to my surprise, I got the shop. Order a little burger, little fry, and small soda. $16.50! $15.44 in March in Pa., $15.66 in Md. in May, I paid $16.40 at the end of June for the same order with a large fry.
I don't mind going a little out of pocket, and sometimes I order a less-expensive sandwich. But it's getting so that you can't order anything and come in under reimbursement. I think their prices are getting ridiculous. I can go to Hoss's and get their salad bar with 1/4-pound burger added on for less than $15. Or Red Robin and get a burger with unlimited side item and a drink for about the same $$.
Which reminds me.... I think I found the MSC that has Red Robin, but I haven't seen any jobs in my area come up. Need to keep my eyes open.

Red Robin is still shopped? I haven't seen them since they used to be with the MSC that shops the subject of this thread. Those were great shops. No fee, just reimbursement, but the report was super easy. Is the MSC a common one, or a small obscure one?
That's not too bad. One of the locations I do is $5.49 for a small fries, $5.99 for a regular. My regular place is $3.95 for a small and $5.15 for a regular.@Heeps21 wrote:
I can't believe the Little Cajun fries are $4.39. Little Cheeseburger, little fries and regular soda comes to $16.29, reimbursement is $15.45.
First time I've heard anyone complain about it. The delivery shop is particularly simple. And yes, the reimbursement is too low.@metro25782 wrote:
The form is confusing as hell though.
