I took a nice bonus for a late night and it turns out they're closing at 8:00 so it was a win-win for me!
There was a discussion about this a page or so back. I had one that stayed in QC for a few days, but it ended up getting approved with no issues. Typically, it's a day, sometimes 2-3.@wulflov wrote:
Does anybody know the normal approval time for these shops? I just did my first one on Thursday and it's still in QC.

If a late-night shop fits into your schedule/lifestyle, they're a great way to get a nice bonus which becomes your new "normal fee" when negotiating when schedulers.
They called me yesterday to offer $18, and I asked for my usual $25. They said they had to put in a request and I did not hear back within an hour. So I logged on and put in an offer for the same amount and got approved. No idea whether the original offer the scheduler put in wasn't accepted, or what. This week's lunch shop has the shake@KathyG wrote:
The last couple of times a scheduler has called I've tried to get them to match my highest fee. They've stuck to what they're offering and wouldn't go any higher.

Given that they are the same ingredients as are available for a regular burger, I doubt it. I actually screwed up, should have asked for the grilled cheese with veggies. I did get some jalapeƱos on the side when I got my sandwich and put them in to give it some kick. Of course at that point I could have ordered the sandwich without cheese@BusyBeeBuzzBuzzBuzz wrote:
Strange. Could they have run out of one of the ingredients for the veggie sandwich?
Yeah, but he didn't say that they were out of it or say that they couldn't make it with a couple of ingredients. He acted like he had never heard of it.@BusyBeeBuzzBuzzBuzz wrote:
If they ran out of mushrooms or bell peppers, they can't technically serve a veggie sandwich (unless you order a custom sandwich and ask them for specific veggies).
Hopefully they don't look me up on video. Shop still in QC but that seems to be normal recently.@BusyBeeBuzzBuzzBuzz wrote:
Ooooo, somebody's gonna be in trouble!
Was this by some wild happenstance in a New York City-area town with a two-word name, initials PM? Because this sounds eerily like a shop I did there a few months ago. The difference being the whole idiot staff had their noses exposed when I went.@NinS wrote:
I had a beauty the other day: wrong toppings, no drink cup, half the staff including management wearing masks below nose, and no soap in the restroom! I did another uneventful shop the same day which was approved a day or two earlier, but but now both have been approved.

My local delivery shop is $5. I never see a bonus or even a Make An Offer on that shop.
That's too bad. Mine went up to $15 today. I hold out for $18-20.@BusyBeeBuzzBuzzBuzz wrote:

I should try calling. There's an online order lunch shop at a location that I can be near on Sunday, but it's only showing $18 right now. It's not a location they usually call me for, but I've done it occasionally.@HonnyBrown wrote:
Scheduler called with bonused shops for today and tomorrow. I happily accepted since they were higher than my normal fee!
The FG reimbursement is a flat figure that is listed separately from the fee on the job board. Sales tax reimbursement is not calculated separately. The figure listed is the maximum they'll reimburse you for, tax included.@hokiezz wrote:
Is the sales tax reimbursable on the delivery shops? The shopper fee is only $5 in my area for these, and you end up paying almost $2 in taxes. I know delivery fees are reimbursable but not clear if the tax is.
